god, this is a nightmare. nobody was screaming at the top of their lungs begging for any of this. please stop hyping it up when there's nothing here to be happy about, especially when you're not pointing out the obvious negatives. it's really REALLY off-putting.

I am sick of AIs. Rather than doing some real improvement in repairablility or efficient hardware they are focused on a non-sense stuff which very few people actually use.

How is Alphabet reducing input; output resources; emissions from the data centers for these Ai tools?
Ai that runs on nuclear FUSION, then I'll be interested. Until then it's just creating convenience at the cost of the environment

oh, giving ai access to my passwords, logins and passport and bank details THERE'S NO WAY THIS ISNT A TERRIBLE IDEA, THERE'S NO WAY THE AI WILL FAIL OR BE HACKED

that alone is why im going to avoid android 17 for as long as possible, the sloppification of tech continues

Man these AI features still feel sooooo forced. Like you have to put more effort into using the AI than actually doing the task yourself. Or like you said it’s worth it for you to take 5 minutes to plan it yourself lol

I hate the idea of ai knowing so much of my personal info.
    1. Because of how shady these tech giants are and that even though they say that they don't have access to that data im willing to bet they're lying.
    2. Even if it was stored locally, it still gives anyone malicious a chance to get everything there is to know about you in one place.

So Android 17 is obviously all about AI, and because it’s Google we’re supposed to love it? What a security nightmare this sounds like! But who cares because you can ramble in your voice messages, haha. Imagine saying that a company’s AI can now look at your screen to get the full context and marketing it as a good thing! What insanity.

It's crazy that people really think this is making your privacy disaster as if it wasn't like that in the 1st place it's what else they can bring it forward as a feature or make it hide and still all this stuff happens

The first 5 min are just integrity nightmare fuel!
I do not know if i want to watch more…
I hope there is a way to block or un install this invasive dive in to my privacy.
Just imagine that all of this information the AI is collecting about you, is going to be sold by google to any one with the money to pay for it.
Every company in the world is going to know your life and will be able to use AI to tailor adds to get you to buy things.
Not only that, they will know if you are in real need of something and offer it to you right away!
    Sounds great right?
Except they will now that you are desperate, so they will increase the price and block you from finding it cheaper.

All of this is bad, like really bad!

I did not even mention the implication on your work life.
With this, your company can buy your data and use it against you to drive wages down or reduce your work time.
They can use the fact that you are in financial trouble to get you to work more for free or get fired.

Ai is not inherently evil, but companies are!
If they can use it to make a dollar more, they will sell your soul!
Nothing is ever a problem, then you add humans to it and it is all over.

The only weird thing I find is having both Surfshark and Saily as your sponsors because NordVPN owns Saily but then I researched they own Surfshark as well so like lol.
