Anarchy and EKKSTACY
EKKSTACY is a Canadian artist who has been described as ‘the new king of sad punk songs’ which is both reductive and wrong. “She Will Be Missed” was released last month and it left me excited. You can find the track here:

I subscribe to your channel only a few months ago so I missed this one. Algorithms brought me here as I'm listening to a lot of punk/rock music at the moment and what a good surprise ! I love everything (perhaps my favorite of all your videos) : the song, the aesthetics, the tatoos 😁, the drummer, your love for microphones ( I myself am a kind of a T-Shirt freak) , the revelations of your personality test..😁😁et votre bonne humeur.

Just before I hit my bed, before another warehouse day after day after day, say no more.
A flash of almost sobriety in my head……………
a Justin Hawkins cover versions album released to the world copyright issues and no income could be the nada on that one, but it could, would and should be…………a cult classic dinner winner.
Even better, just an album of your own tunes……………………just saying.
I'll see you on the ice Jussy Bhoy, nuff sed

Taking suggestions again, eh? What about Die Spitz & Heartworms? Two I’ve thrown out before that have a similar style and/or atmosphere to a few of the themes discussed on this vid, but in a much different way than this song.

Seems ok. I hear enough to make me consider listening to more. Not sure. But, the standout for me immediately was that opening drum line followed by the rest of the drumming. That was very interesting. I liked that a lot.
The song itself sounded to me (and I’m not trying to slag it off) like something you would hear in a “pivotal” scene of an 80’s movie. With the both the song and the movie written & directed by old teens/young twenty-somethings from the current generation. From that perspective, I think they were successful.

Cool, always nice to find some young and upcoming artists. I've had a streak in that regard lately, really like a new band from Finland, "The Vantages", that I stumbled upon just before Christmas.

Is that the Seinfeld friars club jacket?
@SuziQ.
September 30, 2026 at 1:08 pm
I wouldn’t call it proper punk. It’s heavily influenced by eighties pop. The face tats are hideous. Johnny Stevens (Highly Suspect) ruined his face with tats, when he was going through a dark period and hated himself.
Your sarcasm is almost too subtle to hear.
