Hope you liked this video! I love Vampire Weekend and I’ve been wanting to make a video about them forever. Ezra, Rostam and the rest of the guys are the best. Their self-titled album, Contra, and Modern Vampires of the City are some of my favorite albums ever. Super excited for Father of the Bride!

I never fucked with indy or pop and only had heard and seen ezra on Major Lazer "Vampire Weekend" episode and the song Jessica like maybe 10 years ago, never thought to look them up. Then randomly looked them up the other day and heard them for the first time and here I am and 32 years old and was instantly hooked, literally have been listening to them non stop for the last week or two since I checked them out. They sold me with that line:
"why would you lie 'bout anything at all?
first the window, then its to the wall
Lil John he always tells the truth" 😎👌

I love all their albums but I fell in love with father of the bride. Being a Latino in America, the political anxieties portrayed in the album capture the political atmosphere for many of us minorities. I’m also Puerto Rican so the Caribbean influence in the album is nostalgic and a plus overall.

Cousins was my first favourite by them, then I heard Harmony Hall and it was one of my highest played songs for the past few years. Now I'm getting more into them. Hannah Hunt, Giving up the Gun, A-Punk, they're classic indie/alt now
