Really hope Amy never feels awks talking about spirituality – it's shining out of her eyes and through her voice, the universe (the energy of unconditional love and truth!!!!) is so present in this record that it is going to change the world. Waheguru!

I am close to 70 years old and heard my son years ago listening to evanescence.. fell in love immediately. Can't wait for the new music. Love her voice!❤

I don't know how they did it…but Sanctuary doesn't sound like an Evanescence album…it sounds like an 'Us' album and I can't explain that feeling any further; either you get it or you don't. It reminds me of what Gaga did with her "Chromatica" album and created a 'place' for her fans.

When I started listening to Evanescence I did not speak English at all. Here I am 20 years later fluent in English. It is an absolute HONOR to understand everything she is saying and singing without looking up ever word like an idiot <3

I want to sing, but idk who to talk to about that. I made a promise to a friend of mine that I would try to show someone what I can do. I love this interview and your music. You're right, there is so much feeling in your music. It's absolutely amazing.

Who knew a woman can have a perfect speaking voice, and singing voice. Both talents, podcast possibilities and music that doesn't compare. You nailed it all. Ever think about JC

Pretty Epic interview with great questions! TY🤙

Saw them here in Aotearoa, NZ, last Nov with Metallica! Neither band had been back here for MANY years, so it was a night to remember, alright!

Have been such an Ev fan since the 00's when I fronted my own local band, & the hubs – also in my band – is an og Tallica fan, so we were STOKED! almost 60k peeps at our rugby arena.

I was personally wondering how all the Metallica fans would receive Ev tbh – bc I've seen old footage of them NOT being well received many moons ago, before Metallica at a festival – & the crowd were amazing to them. Made me proud lol

It's also been so lovely seeing Amy turn more spiritual than religious as she's matured & found empowerment with it!

They blew us all away so much at the gig. Well-oiled incredible machine that they are (& my first Metallica gig lol)
They're coming back probs next year! Can't wait🤩

Listened & looked at the lyrics to Forever Without You.. can't help but wonder if it's about Ben & like a final exorcism re that whole period.. Either way cool song!

    Anyways… awesome interview. Thanks🍫

first time this has ever happened to me w an ev song but i've heard forever without you several times and the last time was a few hours ago but then something broke inside me and shed a few tears for some reason….wonder if this happened to anyone else w that song or another one

17:39 Finally someone asked her about this! About the religious themes that appears to be on this album based on the song titles like Sanctuary, Rapture, and Afterlife. I’ve also been wondering about that. Thank you for asking that question!
