Amiga CD32 – Angry Video Game Nerd (AVGN)

Cinemassacre | April 3, 2026

The Angry Video Game Nerd reviews the Amiga CD32 console. Watch as the Nerd dives head first into some of the worst video games ever. The Amiga CD32 had such “gems” as Gloom, Kang Fu, Oscar, Naughty Ones, Morph, Beavers, Zool, Dangerous Streets, and of course Surf Ninjas for some reason. This is Angry Videogame Nerd episode 162

When I heard the voice line at 8:30, I immediately recognized that audio. I double-checked, and yes, my thesis was correct. It was stolen right from the first Screwy Squirrel cartoon.

Admit it, Dangerous Streets' "Tony"…… i'm not the only one here that was half expecting him to yell "say hello to my lil' friend"…. iykyk he both sounds and sorta looks slightly like Montana

I loved my CD32, but that thing was badly built. Constant problems with the cd-rom drive and the cheap controller. But Diggers that came with the console, that was a great game! I completed it many times.

Buba N stix is awesome, I got to the 3rd map on my Amiga600 with that f'd up joystick that would sometimes lock it self and Buba would just run around like a mad man left and right and jump non stop. xD
The secound map I knew how to solve since I was a 5 year old.. Yeah dude a 5 year old me is better at puzzle games than a game nerd

$700 is insane! I got my Switch 2 for $500, and even that was only that much because it came with a Mario Kart World download. And the crazy part is it’s definitely even more in 2026.

I'd love someone to fund outrageous prize-pool tournaments for some of these archaic shitty fighting games. Re-create the set of Bloodsport, and fly everyone in to lan inside the ring.

it sucks the amiga cd32(Forgot to specify that it was this one) predicted some stuff about modern gaming(very expensive for a shoddy product and games just being mid)

Oh… that’s not the worst fighter…. Try being a kid stuck with a genesis only … and the only game your parents could afford at the time was….

    Eternal champions……

There is no worse fighting games than that. None.

If the Nerd thinks the kangaroo skeleton was bad, he NEEDS to play the game "Flood" on a normal Amiga. The ending cut-scene when you've fought your way through the entire game still haunts me. You'll never complain about another "Congraturation" screen ever again.
