I'm so confused as to why people love Hasan so much. It's not as if there aren't safer, less vulnerable liberals to follow. Hasan Piker is a nepo baby who's daddy got him out of military service just like Trump, except at least Trump was going to be sent to a pointless war in Vietnam. Hasan was only going to do two years of mandatory military service in Turkey, which they all do.
I didn't think he shocked his dog at first, but with how much he contradicted himself over the issue it's obvious he was lying and really did shock his dog, right after saying America is the worst country on the planet because he was upset about his internet. Such a petty reason to be upset.
He's obsessed with expensive clothing and social media, which indicates he's not really a deep thinker, he's moreso interested in appearance and being popular. His image is more important to him than his convictions.
I'm pretty sure most his audience only likes him because he's got that hipster chic thing down and they find him attractive. Dean Withers and Parker from Parker Get a Job are way more intelligent and articulate, and way safer bets. People who follow Hasan are going to feel really stupid someday, probably soon. A nepobaby, peacocking, popularity clout obsessed person like Hasan has skeletons in their closet. They are never as principled in their personal lives as they make you think they are on camera.

As a guy under 40 I think the left has somewhat alienated young (white) men who are then being scooped up by influencers who validate their insecurities and offer them a way to âtake control of their lives.â Thatâs why jumbled up in this is looksmaxing, misogyny, and even the focus of what water to drink. They make everything super black and whiteâŚâ want to be successful, do this. So thereâs this like self help pipeline thatâs really easy to fall down. Also I think itâs notable that Joe Rogan, Andrew Tate, and the Paul brothers are all fighters that exude confidence, dominance, strength, and wealth. Until the left gets more horses in that lane, Idk how of a contender theyâll be for winning that demographic back.

I feel like Hasan kind of fits into the role that Malcolm X had during the civil rights movement. Someone who is highly divisive, disliked and vilified even by the more moderate left, but plays an important role in the overall struggle. Malcolm X is largely the reason MLK is seen as a moderate (as well as white washing, but I digress) when he much more progressive. Compared to a leftist saying white people have no place in the struggle, MLK looks more normal and sensible and much more palatable to the people willing to just adhere to the status quo. He was seen as a reasonable compromise, because after all, he could be this other dude whoâs way more extreme. That helps us to get legislation like the civil rights act and the voting rights act, because they were seen as the more moderate solution. I donât say any of this to discount the work of MLK or even to claim this was an intentional collaboration, just that, I think, Malcolm X played a much larger role, even indirectly, than people give him credit for. And also, I think that a loud spoken leftist willing to call for the most extreme options is necessary to get anything substantial at all. If there are no voices on the far left asking for the extremes, the progressives instead look as insane leftists and the compromised positions instead become those of moderates, and thatâs what has largely gotten us into this mess in the first place. If weâre to fix this country, the left needs to band together and acknowledge that we are all necessary to the political process, not just the corporate elites.

The main thrust of this video, the fact that the left needs to stop demanding purity and work with what they have. That young mean are better off watching Hassan than Joe Rogan, is something Iâve thought for a long time but never seen out as clearly and forcefully as you have done here.
