You still haven't hit on the real issue causing all of this. It's not greed. Greed is always and everywhere. People have always been greedy and always will be greedy. Just like you don't explain a plane crash with "gravity," you can't explain poor economic decisions and outcomes with "greed."

Too much wealth and power in too few hands. It never works out in the favor of the majority. We can still have rich people; they just don't get to be quite AS rich.

I don't see ads. I have YT Premium and I use it to watch videos and also to replace Spotify.
I chose it because SPOTIFY became political and supported people like Joe Rogan (in particular) who's greed and selfishness have strongly contributed to the destruction of America. (But it made HIM rich, so all good, right?)
Turns out that it was a very good choice and now I am also getting rid of Netflix – I sub once in a while if there is something I rally want to see – like "Wednesday".
We have MORE content than we can possibly consume. A teeny, tiny bit of self-discipline goes a long way … and saves a lot of money.

I turned 35 this year and the amount of boner pill ads aka blue chew ads I’ve been getting is beyond aggravation. I’ve reported them, blocked them, reached out to YouTube and it’s just gotten worse. Doesn’t matter the time of day, doesn’t matter if you’re watching a video with your kid, boner pill ads.

They always will, and they look at us like we're wackos. So I stopped talking to them about it. You CAN'T fix stupid. Keep drinking the tap water sheeple!! 😁

Speaking of ads, I just got one that, when it ended, didn't return me to the video.

Corn and soybean, corn and soybean, every single time it's just corn and soybean the only things that are being farmed

You can still climb the economic ladder if you know how to take properties that the market considers low value and make them higher value through trade skills and Permaculture practices. I'm looking for my 3rd property right now.

You also have farmers telling their children to not go into farming. I've talked to some wives of farmers and several of them have told their children to go to college instead of farming. One woman was even upset that her children chose to farm with her husband instead. The argument was that farming wasn't financially worth it for their children, so they thought college would get them better paying jobs.
