All Pop Songs Are The Same

This gets discussed ALL the time. This is hardly some obscure conversation happening.

I've spent almost a couple hours rewatching this video. I want to focus on what is said at 7:14. I say there has been a revolution. Multiple revolutions, as a matter of fact.

So what happened? Many things divided our culture. What started as revolutionary eventually became standard, but stays within no more than a few communities. Communities outside of those either misunderstand it or mock it.

An example of a midunderstanding is found with CNN's take of BAD Apple, which is a doujin pop song.

An example of mockery is last week when Bill Mauer made a joke of one community's pop idol.

Stuff like this keeps communities divided and cause pop music to basically be a niche in the modern era.
