Finally this album landed on my hands today albeit a year late. I had the record and I literally wore it out and was waiting for this album to be remastered and finally it did. There is no song left unplayed in this album. I was 14 when this album came out and now at 69 it is and will always be my best ever Alice Cooper album.

I have one question???? Please tell me Andy Pearce has nothing to do with these remasters. He's ruined more remaster projects. They always sound quiet and thin. Hopefully these remasters are louder and bright.

Great record. Those were great times. It was a completely different country then. I miss America so much. We need to take it back from the evil doers.

Hi Yeah I'll be getting these latest editions. I was wondering if these are the the full concert recordings?
Was Be My Lover an opening live song back in the day?

The Killer concert I went to as teen in 1972 was one of the Top 5 Concerts I have ever witnessed. And I've seen many bands in the 70's and the 80's.

Thanks for the review Barry. This is one of my favorite albums from the Alice Cooper Band. Along with Love It To Death and Billion Dollar Babies. I will definitely be picking this one up. As far as School's Out goes, I'll probably pick it up just to have it but realistically, it's not a fave of mine. A couple of song on it are ok but as a whole, it just doesn't work for me. I can't wait to hear what the do with Love It To Death. Let's hope they remaster that. Great job as always.

A Show in Montreal 1972 was partially filmed for a documentary (though wich Only includes 2 Songs)
In 2014 a 35 min. compiled concert film was released as a Bonus dvd as Part of the 'Super Duper Alice Cooper' Deluxe Edition.
I wished, that they would finally release that concert film on a remastered stand-alone DVD.
I personally own the Deluxe Edition & the Concert Film.
But for Fans, who don't want to Spend 60 – 160$, it would be great to have a stand alone release!

Interesting, thanks for the heads up. Your assertion that the live element is sourced from a soundboard would be confirmed by your observation that the crowd are “quiet” – it’s a soundboard so they would be. I shall without doubt plump for the vinyl issued. Thanks

I remember buying this great album in Woolworths with my birthday money when it was released. Been waiting for a decent CD edition for a long time. Seems the wait is over.

Lester Bangs liked this one and who could blame him? I remember taking it to primary school and someone asking if that was my handwriting on the cover. 🤦♂️

I remember back in the Day.
EARLY Alice Rocks.
It was a great period.
I would listen to Alice
Bowie and Lou Reed. T REX
Early Seventies.
KILLER. BILLON DOLLAR BABIES
SCHOOLS OUT.
I Love all that stuff.

I'm really glad they finally got around to remastering this great album!! However, I wish the release was a more deluxe issue, a box with hardcover book and other goodies. There was a ton of great press articles and promo stuff and photos from back then, which would be appreciated to be seen.

This was Alice's best straight up rock album with the original group, in my opinion. I do love Billion Dollar Babies though. I bought all of his early albums right after they would come out.

Looking forward to hearing these remasters. Bob Ezrin's productions were always a bit muddy, regardless of who he was producing, so I'm looking forward to improved sound quality.

I have over a dozen Alice vinyls, but surprisingly this is the one album I could easily live without. I have seen Alice live twice. Love your videos Barry.

Really looking forward to getting these Barry. Could be the re-releases of the year I think. Killer is a fantastic album and School's Out had some great stuff on it as well. Will look forward to your review of that. I still love this band fifty odd years after first hearing them.

For me this is Alice Cooper/Alice Cooper band's best album. I have been waiting for this to be remastered, improved upon for a long time. I am getting my copy next Friday along with School's out. Dead Babies and Killer is the prefect end to this macabre masterpiece from the band. I might have to get the vinyl of both albums just to have the goodies from the old releases.
