Why do people deny that fentanyl comes from china and is pushed through mexico. I have talked to a few friends particular left mindset. They say cartels dont traffic fentanyl. But why would they not? Why be blind to real issues

This is my home town, I’ve been on opioids for my entire adult life since I was 14, about 10 years. Now I just got my first year clean. If you are struggling i promise you that there is hope and life on the other side is so much better than you can possibly imagine when you are actively using. Don’t give up, if I can do it, I promise you can too.

I wasn’t expecting to reflect as much as I did watching this video.

You could call me a radical leftist, I believe legalizing it and instead putting resources into helping people with addiction is a better solution than jailing everyone, but it never even occurred to me that people would migrate and stretch resources thin if it’s not done on a large scale. Really something to think about.

If you can't afford you're addiction, then you don't get to do it. You wanna do whatever, go ahead it's you're body. The moment other people are victims of you're addiction, screw off.

Also being narcaned is the worst thing ever. The precipitates withdrawals are worse than day 10 of a methadone WD or day 15 of a sub WD and those are personally the worse I've ever dealt with.

12 years ago I went 32 without Suboxone, my dumbass hasn't went a day without it since. I was feeling better at day 32, but did some for some stupid reason.

Fent is gross and the high is dog water, with little euphoria. Good or even OK heroin is pure euphoria. I've only done real pharm fent(smoking gel patches) and they sucked and only knock you out

Naomi Klein had this real tendency for years, to lessen the responsibility of the lowest people.. and try to create this world where weakness needs to be allowed so that people who find themselves afflicted by all types of things, poverty, drug addiction, lack of agency.. all these things are allowed by the so-called "Left," all by those who aren't afflicted… this whole mindset allows millions of lives to be lost, statistics accepted, and for no real gains; these things are NORMALIZED when they are nothing but the opposite of normal. It is not okay to be a drug addict. It is not normal that our cities have thousands of zombies and gangsters just doing what they do. It isn't okay, it is the disintegration of our society. It is pathetic.

Side note: I love your work, Andrew. I think you're one of only a hundred or so journalists in North America worth listening to. I'm not trying to just troll your video… I want to say that only being gentle with drug addicts might not be the best way to represent these people. Tell them that life is short, nobody cares, and the only person who can better your situation is you. Alone. Sober. Real.

I was addicted to hard drugs for twenty years. Two decades. Nearly half of my life. The ONLY thing that made my life better was when I took agency for my own life, and realized that using hard drugs is for complete losers. Nobody else will help you. Nobody else will live your life for you. The ONLY answer is taking agency over your own life, and telling anyone who uses drugs to fuck off.

Drug seizures do absolutely nothing while drug addiction isn't addressed at all. Drugs cost nothing to produce, seizures do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. They still got paid for making the shit. It's a waste of money to pay people to seize drugs, as long as junkies rule America.

Not worth mentioning Mexico and China, only fuels racism. The problem is that America has a massive drug addiction problem. Period. If there wasn't such a weakness in American culture, there wouldn't be anything that other people could exploit. America's drug problem is pathetic and weak, it is because so many millions of people think they can solve problems with drugs… what work in America is being done to curtail this?
