    The thing is that a lot of these people sing really well and it’s the lyrics that they are singing that are hurting them
    There are a lot of songs with nonsensical lyrics that aren’t necessarily AI generated that have existed before and people love them
    Some of them are definitely AI generated but I also think that sometimes it’s that they wrote the lyrics in their heads and then they thought that they sounded good at the time

    One clear way you can tell if a lyric was wirtten by AI is that AI only ever goes for easy rhymes and will mangle grammar and logic to get to them. A real human songwriter can rhyme /home/gold/bone/road, whereas AI would never. And then you get thingdlike "the earth's crust", which has some sort of bsivc logic to it, but that no sane human being would ever think to say.

    I know I'm late, but I've noticed a lot of AI songs don't use slant rhymes (for those who don't know, slant rhyme, also called "near rhyme," are words that technically rhyme due to pronunciation, rhythm and/or vowel sounds, but aren't perfect rhymes. Emily Dickinson used it constantly). Example:
    Perfect rhyme: time/lime or fame/same
    Slant rhyme: dull/till, cheeks/repeats
    Using slant rhyme is usually a creative choice with a lot of writers, as it allows for more creative freedom. I remember Eminem used slant to rhyme the word "orange" with "four inch," "door hinge," "storage," which worked with rhyme and accent. I noticed AI songs stick to perfect rhyme, maybe because it's more conventional and predictable. I also imagine it's easier to code AI with perfect rhymes rather than slant because there's too much to account for in slant (varying accents affect pronunciation, music style affects rhythm, etc). Just what I was thinking about playing the Is it AI game, I don't know, maybe you'll see this and think it's interesting.

    Look not all artists/singers are musicians but… hire and pay musicians to create real music as appose to relying on AI (aka an alleged cheat code) do your work is authentic and not just aesthetic.
