Well I wouldn't have believed that was nine inch nails . Doesn't sound like nine inch nails , sounds more like Linkin Park. Kinda disappointing actually. Dude killed it on the drums , I'm always a sucker for a good disco beat .

Oh wow you guys helped me dream up a new segment for the Musora brand.

You have each Channel write a song together. You start with Guitareo for guitars and—you guys do bass on that channel or another one (PlayBass?) but it’s then sent bass next, then it’s sent over here to Drumeo for the drum part, finally sent to Singeo for lyrics. Sprinkle Pianote somewhere for the keys.

One song, written by famous musicians with little time for each part. The final song is premiered on Musora channel. How SICK would that be‽ I need to see this!

I love that Aaron is a NIN fan too (I've been one since the "Broken" EP – and an Underoath fan since "The Changing of Times" (but hardcore fan since "They're Only Chasing Safety"))

"With Teeth" is my overall favorite album too. Something about the seeming simplicity of the songwriting, but it still has the raw emotion of "Broken" and "The Downward Spiral" (Though my favorite 2 NIN songs are still from "Broken" – "Wish" and "Gave Up"… Almost 34 years after I first heard 'em)

It's cool to hear Underoath influence in the tom parts, btw.
Aaron has certain very distinct approaches to certain type of song parts

(the drummer of Snapcase is another fine example of very distinctive – almost minimalist – drumming, in service of the song…)

I was unfamiliar with Underoath and Aaron before this and when he was talking about the show they played right after "With Teeth" came out in 2005, I was like "What? What were you, 10?" Turns out Aaron's 43. My guy doesn't look a day over 30 🙂

With Teeth is such a banger album. I know some people won't like it so much as it's very commercial album by NIN standards, but it's just straight up banger after banger. The only song I don't really vibe with is the title track, funnily enough.

Can confirm With Teeth is an amazing album… the slip has a handful of good songs too… the fragile.. ahhh ive seen nin a pile of times wish ilan and josh (i caught them in 05 with josh) and after… they were idk anymore but they were amazing, watch the dvd from the fragile era, them playing live…. ya they were leaps and bounds ahead of everyone else as far as live shows go.. dow ward spiral is good but its not my fav ill be honest.

Awesome job playing like nin, did a dqmn good job, not enough off beats though lol we all know josh loves playing off beats

I'm semi-convinced that Nine Inch Nails' drum parts are purposely written for masochistic drummers. I've seen NIN live many times and the drummers look like they're inhuman. Congrats to Aaron for nailing it (pun intended).
