It is worrying that rabies is often the last diagnosis medical professionals think of. Because hydrophobia is towards the final stages of the virus, the possibility of Rabies is easily but worryingly overlooked. It's crucial to ask if a person has been bitten by an animal. In America, Rabies is unfortunately still prevalent. In the UK, Rabies is extremely rare, but we have bats that may carry another form of Rabies, which means it's crucial to avoid disturbing animals. All domestic animals are usually vaccinated against Rabies in the UK.

I mentioned this before… I had cancer, Gallbladder stones, intestinal blockage and imo Rabies is the scariest thing along with Ebola.

I read into the case online and they are saying it was most likely a rabid feral cat scratch, although rare to contract rabies this way it’s not impossible due to cat saliva being on the paws and claws of cats because they self groom a lot

Crazy, they thought is was appendicitis, but then they said it was the flu. That almost killed me as a child when my appendix ruptured after the doctor said I had the flu. I still have medical issues almost 50 years later from it.

Hydrophobia is the main symptom. This virus is what nightmares are truly made of. I’ve thought about it a lot. If this virus didn’t Ki** its victims so quickly this would and could turn into a pandemic and wipe out every mammal. Thank god this isn’t the case

Rabies is the scariest to me of all diseases I could get sick with. If you catch it in time you can get meds. If not well you know the outcome

The flu isn’t a stomach virus. It only affects the lungs etc. it’s a respiratory illness. There’s no such thing as a stomach flu.
