A Northwoods Creek in Fall
Over the past few years we have tried to find spots that the Shoepack Lake Pack—one of the most challenging packs to study given the remote and wild area they live— frequents where we could put up cameras and get good data.
We put this camera on a little creek running out of a beaver pond in both Fall 2020 and 2021 thinking it might be a spot wolves cross. Wolves do cross from time to time but this spot doesn’t appear to be a really well-used travel corridor per se.
However, this little rocky creek was quite beautiful and we got many other critters in this area. The footage below is a compilation of the best videos from both 2020 and 2021! Enjoy!
