    Too much awareness is detrimental to our species. There's no one shoe fits all for the whole humanity let alone to a single individual. The purpose of life told by "preachers" or "scientists" doesn't reflect reality. These are man-made delusions to make life bearable. So it's not really about making life worth living but instead making life bearable. Suffering and pain will always be big attributes of life more than happiness or joy. We can see this with how little positivity there is in human civilizations throughout history. SO LIFE HAS NO MEANING BUT IT CAN BE BEARABLE.

    I think it's a Christian reaction to not believing in their religion. Often I've heard a Christian say you don't believe in anything if you don't believe in God.. It's ethnocentric Western Civilization ideas based on everything revolving around Christianity.

    I leant Nihilism can get us killed or oppressed by the evil cultural tyrants who don't want us to know more than them because they are meant to known more which is why i am so glad and grateful to find out i am from a counter oppressive supernatural Thorbjorn family from Thor the thunderer who was also known as Bjorn the bear the son of earth mother Jord and Odin the Yule moon father. William the conqueror was bullied and forced to raid in defense of his low born slaved mother and William is a patronymic Thorbjorn the greatest traditional gentleman defender of their raven psychic sighted Valkyrie nieces.

    Often a Christian reaction to an atheist is, you don't believe in anything. They are black and white thinkers. Certainly a Christian would call an atheist a nilest.

    To matter and to mean are outputs of minds. There is no external objective source of meaning, only those which are created and held to by a thinking sentient person. Nihisltic belief is a meaning of no meaning. One of thousands of belief sets (meanings) that humans live and die by.
    You are it and life simply is. Enjoy the day and seed meanings at will…. or not (but that is meaningful too… )

    nothing matters, life is what you make of it, what meaning you give it, what fairy tales you want to tell yourself, and how you navigate through the boundaries of society.

    My headcanon is that evolution has noticed overpopulation getting a problem to our species and so created a reason to either not reproduce (like homosexuals and asexuals) and also unalife themselves due to depression coming from nihilism.
    But hey it's just a theory…

    Nihilism places the responsibility by the individual, did I get that right?
    But free will has been debunked, so how can anyone be responsible for their actions as their every thought and action has boiled up in their subconscious 300 milliseconds before the individual think they made that decission themselves?
    How can I take responsibility for my actions when I'm not the one in control? I am but an observer, bored by the channel called life that I watch.

    Remember back in the good 'ol days when every man had to work 12 hours a day to hunt down the stag or produce enough to survive and didn't have enough time to wrestle with these trivialities?
