i try to imagine that this is my life. i try to imagine to make +10min advertisement videos about some random products because: CAPITALISM BABEY!
i just cant. it would be such a useless, debilitated, f'd up existence and i would know that i really, really f'd up this thing thats called "being human" because when yi would be a creature like this i would be more some kind of a.. cockroach.
a bum on the street lives a more worthy and "human" life, then these people. it is non-existence to the absolute maximum.
some people just dont deserve the time that they have on this earth.

9:34 is not labled with the xbox button layout. Not on the one shown in the video, not the one i own. A is on the right, B is on the bottom. Im assuming you meant of your using the taco on pc or mobile with xinput controls

Anyone have an idea which emulator is being used in this video? I picked up this controller but am having a hard time getting the emulators to show the screen above the controller. I've tried FullRoid and John GBC.

Do people really put handhelds in their pockets? I've been playing handhelds since the game and watch. I've never put one in my pocket. I don't like to scratch things up. I keep them in cases and put them in my backpack. My Turboexpress looks the same as it did in 1990.

A nice idea in theory. In practice I can see two problems. First, the lag. Second, the phone needs to not have a case. I don’t know anyone who uses their phone without a case, so this wouldn’t work.

I see one big problem with this. It's so good, you will want to play for hours meaning SCREEN BURN.
I would personally have made it look like the Gameboy advance so you can have it in landscape and use wide-screen hacks for games and or boarders for games you cant play in wide-screen

And you’ve reminded me of that silly string screen light I had for my game boy so I could see a small patch of the screen lit up nicely in the car during long road trips, but the rest of the screen was basically useless.

I was very interested when I heard that Gamesir had come out with the Taco. I bought a Tegenaria Lite for my PC (T3 Lite now, I guess? Or is that just a Europe and international thing?) and it works excellently as my PC gamepad, and with a Brook Wingman PS2 it even works wonders on my fat PS2; a bit too square on the left analog for my tastes, but I'm sure I can fix it in the Gamesir app for PC. So I'm quite invested in their accessories ecosystem, and this covers everything I'd want out of a phone gamepad for the price.
My only reason for a thumbs-down is you got it for free, and honestly even a freebie sponsor just reeks to me. At a decent price point, this seems like a great controller, though and I'm gonna pick one up on a coming paycheck. Still, excellent and honest review, and I'm glad I watched this to find out if it's worth committing to; It sure sounds that way.

3:25 I had one of those but half the size. Much simpler, too: the bezeled top was for headphones and link cable, and the rest held the machine and 4 games.

Appreciate the honest review here. Noticeable lag is a dealbreaker to me as it puts me right off, seems to be par for the course with Bluetooth.

So it's not a console, its clip on controller for your phone.
You don't want a lie to people, but yet you're trying to pass this off as a console going by the title. You're probably better than this.

I’m glad he is getting paid but reviews sponsored by the very product you’re reviewing are such a clear conflict of interest. I really hope he can find a different way to integrate sponsorships in the future because this really isn’t a good way to do it

So, you can only play emulated games you must of course totally legally acquire, it needs an app to run anything and its ergonomics surely are fantastic, when the shoulder buttons are used.
Look, I get it and I think it’s a neat idea. One that has been done before though, no? And while I appreciate the idea, I think it’s weird to gloss over so many of the (potential) issues.

Wasn't there one like that about 10 years ago? You had to actually put GB games into it and it download as an emulator, to curt around Nintendo lawyers.

I know almost no one whose phone isnt in a case constantly. So… this one has a big disadvantage against other controller solutions that also fit for phones in cases
