Morgan I just had to tell you when you put that Game of Thrones title screen up when you were talking about the reading you’ve done on inbreeding I busted out laughing and had to take a screenshot to send to my husband. He watches Game of Thrones and it’s because of him that I know that they inbreed. I had to send it to him and tell him what you were saying and he laughed so hard seeing that. He knows you as “all ducks go to bed” guy because anytime I’m watching one of your videos around him he hears you yelling that! 😂😂😂

FARM TIP: hardware cloth is small enough the ducklings can't get through. Wrap it around the bottom of the pen, and fold six inches underneath. Mama duck can't protect the ducklings from a sneak attack of a hungry barn cat doing what it does best when the duckling can get out but she can't. We just don't want to see half the ducklings lost again. Great video, thanks for sharing! I love Sly!

That opening foggy scene after the duck genetics (I do find that kind of discussion fascinating) lesson needed LoTR theme, so I ran it in my head. Yes the Highlands were definitely buffering the morning of this video however their recovery time does exceed my memories of actual "dial-up" download time. Ducks feeding @ 18:50–19:00 had Jurassic Park Theme playing (again in my head). I may have figured out why it takes me so long to learn new skills, too many soundtracks stored😉. However, the genetics/GoT @20:15 comparison did scare me. If this Brave New World of ducks begin growing fangs, scales and spewing fire then obviously rethink that breeding plan. 🤣

Have you considered putting up a some raised solar panels in the cattle grazing area? Then you could get both shade for the animals and some extra electricity production. It has been tested in a few places in Europe, both here in Sweden and a bit in France

just buy a set of brushes for car cleaning not so expencive, also baking soda and vinigar do miracles. safe for animals

The Game of Thrones edit made me laugh way too much. Thanks for the laugh. Great video on what's happening with your ducks. I wonder if Sly being so nice, he'd make a good bull for another heard? You should try and train him, especially for brushing, so he'd be good to sell.

Farm tip – might want to try adding sheep to your herd. Another tuber I watch has added sheep to this cattle herd. Seems to work well.
