Josh, I love you but you don't know Mexican food. I'm from Cali and I know it. Pico de Gallo ALWAYS has cilantro ~ and only some people feel cilantro tastes like soap. I personally love it. I buy guacamoli and add extra pico and cilantro. So, yes, Taco Bell has the right to say it will not be using cilantro. Face it darling you are from chicago, you know Pizza. You live in new york, you know pizza. You are not from California so you do not know Mexican food.

In all fairness to DOGE, not in defense of it, the cuts were from before then too. Remember when romaine lettuce was on constant recall for 1-2yrs around Trump's first term? (I forget if his admin led that or simply never undid it, timing was in the standard grey area of which admin to blame)
Like, it's why I stopped intentionally/knowingly eating pork. While already too close to human flesh for comfort, it was the sole industry to fail each "secret" test for safety before the deregulations were expanded.

We can't ask, "Hold the Cilantro" for anything tho – we can't even substitute for just onions if we wanted a Street Taco, as it's a separate prepped item

10:01 actually cilantro is the only item that comes relatively fresh, specifically for the pico. You even get a green knife so you don't accidentally use the beef bag knife 😂
