Codex is a complete rip-off – It steals your money when you try to upgrade and refuses to resume sessions until a month later. Be very wary before giving it any of your hard-earned cash!

This has to be some kind of kickback scheme to loot what's left of OpenAI's treasury. I spend most of my workday listening to youtube vids and music, letting it drift sometimes to related music/subjects. This has been going on for close to 10 years and I've never heard of TBPN

Trillions & Trillions are being spent on all AI things, yet all these big players claim its too expensive to pay their taxes or give the cleaning & maintenance crews health insurance coverage.

Honestly the real story is the CFO getting blocked my Sam Altman. I worked for a company before trying to rush to IPO and they wanted the CFO to sign the documents for the SEC and no CFO would sign it because it is literally "creative accounting" messing around with EBITA. Within 1 year we changes 4 CFOs. I wouldn't be surprised if Sam is going full iron chef on the books and the CFO is refusing to sign due to legal consequences.

Sam Altman has a history of man-on-man side projects.

Altman, like Musk, has no relationship with value. It's not their money. The banks are on the hook AGAIN.
Wakey wakey.

How can a company that LOSES money SPEND hundreds of millions of dollars?
I can't spend money I don't have, why can they?
@asteroidrules
July 23, 2026 at 2:32 pm
So basically a podcast created to scam gullible investors was bought by a chatbot company created to scam gullible investors, presumably for the purpose of scamming gullible investors, possibly through the process of scamming gullible investors.
@Alex632
July 23, 2026 at 2:32 pm
I can't prove it, but TBPN is funded by tech bros funnelling money from the companies they work at as "advertising expenses"
@chessmagician2024

TBPN made out like bandits, lmao

I think people should dig deeper here, this could be some grifty way Sam Altman is enriching himself because he doesn't have any OpenAI shares. Is he personal friends with or have some prior relationship with the podcast people?

So what you're saying is…one of those jokers is responsible for the hundreds of thousands of ads I'm watching on YouTube?
@incoprea2
July 23, 2026 at 2:32 pm
Youtube is a scam, I spent years and thousands of dollars on a channel and it just got demonetized because of trolls. The ONLY reason I wanted monetization was to turn ads OFF and NOT FORCE my viewers to watch 4 colon commercials first. Youtube is failing miserably and alternatives are thriving.

The Idea of having a media company having a sucessfull business model with a small audience in the business space isn't new. CNBC's audience is laughable by cable network standards never mind Bloomberg or Fox Business. What CNBC has is an audience with an average net worth in the high 7 figures to low 8 figures they don't need to get a lot of eyeballs on their network to charge a lot for advertising because the eyes they do get will spend a lot. I can imagine an influential podcast on youtube could only push this business model further to the extreme with lower cost and audience but much more value per viewer. The worry is that when Altman and open AI do go IPO and start pumping on CNBC the "smart" investors that are watching this podcast will have already gotten wise and will dump shares or short.
