OK, I've watched the whole video and I agree on the videos you covered but i'm new here, this video was recommend to me by YouTube's AI algorithm. If you hate ai as much as you say you do, why do u support products and companies that use ai like all of social media that uses their AI algorithm's to recommend content and ad's to you? I get the videos, I get that. But AI as a whole, when you use products and services that use AI, you are telling that company or service you are ok with the AI and you want more of it not less.
Me: I use AI daily for creative expression, personal understanding, personal growth, and as a tool to help me when I need help. I view AI as google upgraded because I can tell the AI what i'm going through health wise (injury or sickness for example) and it will give me information quicker and cleaner than putting it into google and scrolling, clicking links, reading, backing out cause it wasn't what i was looking for, repeat. I've use AI to find stuff that google would never be able to find. I can tell AI for example there was a place near East Islip New York that sold exotic animals and it had a fire in the early 2000's i think and it gave me the answer and come to find out, it was rebuilt and back in service (closed now) but I use ai to find things that google could never find. Also, it's got a memory too so If i tell it something and in a new chat say something, it can refer to a previous chat.
Yes AI will take a lot of jobs away but it will also create jobs too just like other tools in the past like photoshop and video editing software and 3d animation software like cinema 4d. You can get access to them, learn how to use them, and not have to pay a graphic designer to make what you made. I think that's why a lot of AI stuff is poorly written because it's being used by rookies who didn't learn how to make better written and produced material. then again, why would they care? they most likely get off to the visualization, they don't care about how poorly written it is.

Lets talk the internet. the internet took away jobs working in fields such as newspaper due to new websites, physical music stores due to streaming, video rental like blockbuster due to streaming, travel agencies due to sites like expedia and kayak, retail stores like toys r us and borders due to amazon, map publishers due to google maps, and more. So, the internet took away jobs and created new jobs as will be the case with AI.
Yes – if you give everyone access to a tool, people will use that tool for bad things like with the cell phone, scammers can call you even when you are not home. social media uses ai to maximize profit by keeping you on their platform longer by recommending you things that make u go "interesting" and click it or read it and they maximize profit by ad's they show you that the platform knows what you do so it's not a random ad, it's an ad for you based on your recent activity because a random ad doesn't get as many clicks on it as one that is geared toward you and your recent activity.
If you don't believe me, run this test: focus on a topic and interact with that topic 5 times in a row (5 yt videos on the same topic, 5 x post of the same topic, etc) and then look at your recommended and you will see that what is recommend to you is content you just interacted with and that's how companies keep u on their site longer witch makes them more money witch is what they want because they are a business, not something made for your enjoyment, they are after money more than anything else and that's why you don't see much action taken toward content creators because that makes the company less money and they don't want that, they want more money.

You will never convince me to feel bad for micro-drama "actors". They are a 1/4 step above A.I itself. They are the acting equivalent of shitting into a bucket to paint your art with, poisoning their audiences minds with slop. Have y'all ever looked at some of those micro-dramas? The A.I stories aren't even that much worse, fucked up content wise.

i'm genuinely terrified how normalized AI had become and how addicting it is. my mom randomly started watching those regular vertical dramas because of the constant ads she was getting everywhere. it was already bad enough but now she started watching those terrible AI dramas and she didn't even notice it's AI!!! i had to tell her and guess what. she didn't even care. because exactly the phrase "it's not that deep". at least she doesn't pay for them, just use the free version with ads but that's also bad since she had some close calls with downloading actual viruses because of those stupid ads… we live in hell… (sorry for my english)

at end of the day, just like Trump and Co have enabled half of America to show their racism, bigoted, r*pey DA and every other horrific sides they have in the wide open spaces, of course those same people that use AI will feel emboldened to do the same with AI.

The reason why I will never be against AI in itself is because AI is no different to a gun, on it's own it is harmless, it literally can't do anything without being told to do so by a human, and for the most part those humans are men.

What I would want to see is extreme penalties that are enforced at all times to the max against those humans regardless of their gender, age, skin color or wealth if they use it in those bad ways.

I will never ever blame a tool that has no will of it's own for something the wielder uses it for, because when you focus on the tool and not the tools user you are forever giving that user the chance to walk away and find another tool, then another tool etc etc etc.

Deal with the source of the problem aka the predatory humans and it doesn't matter what tools or technology are available they'll very rarely get used for something bad.

7:50 Well yeah, I feel like the FIRST thing anyone thought of when they found out about AI is "well can it make porn?" and turns out since getting realistic anatomy for an image generator requires some nude modeling to be at least in the training data… It was pretty much good at that even in the early days. I want to say in some bizarre way we're lucky that the higher end flagship AI stuff isnt cheap unlike how it was in the early days because this technology really can just amplify and increase porn addiction by increasing the pornography quantity. Just a prompt and any fantasy you can think of exists. Its horrifying.
Not to mention the use of AI genuinely makes you less intelligent. I dont mean this as in only stupid people would want to or need to or would use AI, I mean this as in you are offloading so much of your thinking that you arent using your brain as much and that causes a loss in intelligence.
