Why Melania’s New Grab Is Terrifying Trump: Wolff | Inside Trump’s Head
*Presented by PMI U.S., US Businesses of Philip Morris International.* Share a prediction on America’s future for a chance to be featured on The Daily Beast Podcast: https://beast.pub/america250 #ad
Michael Wolff and Joanna Coles reveal why the cracks inside Donald Trump’s inner circle may be growing faster than anyone realizes, from Melania Trump’s increasingly distant relationship with the president to the private negotiations reportedly required for her rare public appearances. They also explore how Trump’s personal grudges continue to shape White House decisions, why his Middle East strategy risks becoming the very kind of forever war he once promised to avoid, and how resistance from Republican senators could complicate his agenda heading into the midterms. Along the way, they discuss J.D. Vance’s long-term ambitions, shifting power dynamics inside the Republican Party, and why Trump’s second presidency may already be entering a very different and far more unpredictable phase.

Gere criticized Trump dismantling USAID. they (Trump) has probably had it on the back burner for some time, waiting to use it. I'm older than the internet and i remember'd it.

The rumour about Richard Gere is far less believable than the rumoured Moscow hotel pee tapes held by the Kremlin about Trump!

Regarding the Nigel Farage question, there is a parliamentary standards investigation which is now paused because of the by-election. But when he wins, it will continue, and in the end he will receive a sanction from Parliament that will trigger a recall petition in Clacton. That will mean another by-election and, of course, all the main parties will field candidates then.

To be clear England does not have a new prime minister. England does not have a prime minister at all. The United Kingdom has a new prime minister.

In all the discussions over Iran you rarely hear anything about the presumed deaths of Iranians, why do their lives mean so little?

That particular escapade was written in a book called something like The Darwin Awards, unatributed to anyone, years before it came out as an urban myth about Richard Gere and methinks this was just a little bit what mischief can we do by minions in the White House. In fact the Minions would run it better than the current inmates!

Starmer also made a very public point abou welcoming Zelensky in to Downing Street on the way home from the traducing that Trump and his cabinet handing out to him; at the same time organise a quasi European summit of support. I can't think of a better rebuke to Trump.

Q. What is the difference between Muammar Gaddafi, Saddam Hussein and Donald Trump?
A.1 Less than you would think.
A.2 Hussein sported a moustache.
A.3 Trump still lives and his edifices have not yet been distroyed.
A.4 Maybe the wrong question; What are the similarities?.
A.5 Trump supporters appear to be more gullible.

I do so hope The Daily Beast mounts a reverse campaign about Trump. For example : I do not have to listen to a man who may have had sex with a porn star while his wife was pregnant.
There must be millions of “may have”s about the Donald.

It would definitely help, if those few in the world who do it, to STOP referencing him as " The Most Powerful Man in the World". That carries a mental suggestion, energy, and as well, fluffy that sham on his head. So may we start dropping that phrase please, and stop the psy propping?

I worked across the hall from Gere's late talent agent at the time that rumor was going around. Yes, pre-internet, back around late 1982 or so, no later than 1983. So crazy, and pre-internet, just as his star was rising fast.

Let us put in mind that Trump is thinking that there is no election when the country is in war. He knows that the next election does not look good for him. He wants to control and stay in power.

Michael's 100% correct Joanna, the people of Clacton-sur-Mer would never vote Labour, they'd vote for Heinrich Himmler first. In fact Himmler would be their preferred candidate and MP.
