– Watch this video on your TV or Computer
– Switch the audio language to "Klingon

Bravo, this is genius to allow us to hear the music.
Mine gets de-synced though as the video goes on and I am having to constantly nudge to get it synced.
If I sync it perfectly when you do the deluxe intro, by the time you announce the camp albums it’s out of sync (it’s only slightly but enough to be annoying). I don’t have ads as I use Premium.
I watch on the TV, companion app on my iPhone and the companion audio airplayed to my Sonos 5 – works so well other than the de-sync!

Okay, but here's one last problem that's probably too hard/not worth to solve: I watch your videos at variable speeds. 1.5x for talking and then 1x again for music parts. I guess I just have to keep resynchronizing? Or maybe I'm just forced to watch them at 1x speed?

This reminds me so much of Quibi. For those who don't know Quibi was a short-form mobile streaming service (launched 2020, shut down 2021) built around its proprietary Turnstyle technology. Which was similar in that videos would play seamlessly in either portrait (vertical) or landscape (horizontal) mode without black bars or awkward cropping.
Where if you play the video in portrait mode it would play just like the video normally would (like watching just the youtube video). But if you put your phone in landscape mode it would be kind of like what he's describing in this video would give you graphics and provide a different or expanded viewing experience. Sometimes with additional visual elements or alternative perspectives.

I love this idea a ton, and I've given it a try with this video from the top. My only issues are in the syncing. I can't really tell if I'm synced properly at any time. It would be great if there was a clapper or something that gives an unambiguous visual cue to tell me if my phone and youtube are synced correctly. Or maybe just a counter (up or down) where I can tell if the number in the corner of the two videos matches? Thanks for trying something new and fun.

always watch on PC, cause it's hooked to a theater system. but my monitor has speakers for the phone to listen to, the PC & receiver both have bluetooth, and this syncs up perfectly from my phone's bluetooth.
