After two seasons of his own show, and then a season of another show, and then another season of his own show, Mando is back! This time, in a movie! Because why not? Why not???

The Mandalorian and Grogu is a movie that exists and raises some questions. Like why was this a movie? How much of this movie takes place in pits? Who the hell is Grogu?

This plot structure is SO old and tired. Character travels to some gladiator tournament arena and is surprised to find a person relevant to the plot actively participating in the games, then they must fight them, but not for real. 😧

Ratta the Hut saying "YoU kNoW hOw HaRd iT is To be YoUr oWn MaN WhEn YoUr FaThEr is JabBa tHe HuT?" is the only time this movie is funny and it's for the complete wrong reason

It is interesting to think that in … say 20 years, people will look back at the tiny troll with the dead black eyes and say "People in the 20's thought this abomination was cute?

too many dimwits in charge of greenlighting movies, paying too many dimwits writing directing and acting in movies, like you said, appearing in a movie, not inhabiting a role, or artistically expressing a character either in a convincing way, or entertaining way. a few good indies or low budget youtubers making a splash is nice, it wont change hollywood, they will just try to coopt it, and suck the life out of it. I say, f hollywood completely and self distribute via independent distribution deals for different markets. If you make a splash, the vultures will come out of the woodwork to make deals, make them on your terms, don't sell out, and expand your audience.

I'll tell you one thing, If they charged $30.00 to go see "The Mandalorian and Grogu", I would pay the price to go back and see it a second time. That's how good I think it was. (Although it may be inconsequential, I have seen it four times. One of which being on "Screen X").
I don't know why everyone is getting in such a fervor over "The M&G" being basically the same production as the small screen version. First off, people liked "The M&G" initially. This movie is everything and more that WE ALL INITIALLY LIKED. It plays like a cross between "Toy Story" and "Iron Man". (Coincidentally John Favreau also directed the latter, if that tells you something). But, how can you go wrong? It's one of the most entertaining films I have ever seen! If the Oscar went to the MOST ENTERTAINING movie to be seen in that year, I would have to give it to "The Mandalorian and Grogu". (Up to this point since it's only June). – LOLOLOL LOLOLOL LOLOLOL 😂😅

Just left the theater and what l watched was two maybe three episodes of a television series this is peak over-saturation of the Star Wars universe. The way Jon was talking about this movie l thought it was going to be something a lot more interesting even the 3-D effect were bad.

It’s kind of crazy how hot and cold Star Wars shows and movies are. The same time Mandalorian was crash and burning we got Andor season 2 and Maul Shadow Lord. Both of which are some of the best stuff Star Wars has gotten in years. Like they really need to dial in the writers. Fire the once who made Acolyte, Mando and Grogu and and Obiwan and keep the ones who did Maul and Andor and then they’d probably have a lot better time with good shows.

that's right, we have now had TWO movies flop in theaters about rescuing Jabba's son.
Also someone pointed out that if the twins want to kill ratta, and coin is already planning to kill ratta, why would they hire mando to go save ratta from the rigged fight that otherwise would've killed him?

I actually liked the movie. Fun and action packed. I am kinda surprised it didn't do so well. I have no idea what critics have been saying about it because I stopped listening to them after I realized they ruin experiences for me and are mostly negative.

You gotta love it… Disney is – theoretically – "scamming" people by selling them a streaming service and then even wanting more and they're getting dropped. Mel Brooks is doing Spaceballs II, almost literally "The search for more money!" and we're eating it up 😉
