I wonder how Nihilism ties with being a "man child", or the lack of participation in normal life. Is it just to gratify someone's idea of not "wasting your life", what if the dream is just to be a spectator? what determines something meaningful to ones self?

Strangely enough I have been called this even during my 10 years as a paramedic working 70-80hrs a week but when they seen me at home sleeping all day or playing a video game suddenly im a man child and they forget about all of the shit im doing in those 70hr work weeks. The many days ive gone 48hrs or longer without sleep. Im still catching up on it tbh. The term man child is completely dependent on the persons perspective that is calling someone else that and a lot of the times they are completely disingenuous for their reasoning. Here is a hot take, unless you are directly involved in that persons life, you have no business discussing how they can do better. If more people were worried about their own lives maybe they wouldn't have time to judge someone on how they are operating. Another hot take, the person calling someone this is in fact the' man child. Mind your own damn business in life and you will go farther than anyone else.

I know you meant "get a good paying job, that you don't have to endure".. rite?
Backsliding revealed your ability to guide the lost off a cliff, then come back to fix your error.
Why ask why? YOU can live without experts showing you the 'way'… there is no way.
☀+ 🌧= 🍓🍎🍌etc… all the other animals can shelter and feed themselves, how superior are you? Hahahaha

not gonna lie if you are on typical social media at all (twitter, instagram) and/or post or scroll frequently you are a child to me. same with watching netflix or anime. to be honest creating for your niche must be exhausting. also, what's wrong with doing nothing if you want to? is a guy who built a cabin in the woods but sleeps in all day and does whatever he wants a child? why am I responding to clickbait when you have to do this to get engagement? probably because there's no actual way for me to stop this machine you're contributing to. may as well get my thoughts out!

Being born as the youngest child. Every person in my life was an adult already. Received exclusively top-down love, never taught horizontal love. Never made a friend, always adopted by them. Never did anything for myself, always followed the script, always listened to the adults. Derived purpose from showing up to do as I’m told. Never practiced organic unscripted human interaction. Now out of school, free from this social scaffolding feeling lost. Everyone calls me an adult now, but it isn’t true. Man-child was always how this story would end. What do I do?

My emotional intelligence is near zero thanks to autism. Thus my attempts to contact the real world have left more wounds than trophies, furthening my depression and eventual… I feel like I'm just a saddist to myself.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha bro, we are NOT in 1997 anymore, we need 4 jobs and sell our soul to live an AVERAGE LIFE, I rather let it all rot, why? Because it’s foundation is made by SUFFERING, GREED, AND VILLANY.

Every moment on earth, a chance to leave a mark or a smile or even a meaningful moment. When you start to see we are in a countdown to our last breath, and time is a chance to do something in which to prove you deserved the existence you were given, not to say just living alone isn't enough but to each you should see all as a distraction to your true callings in life, whether family, friends, art or work and in this way meaningless consumption will begin to bore you.

I think a lot of people want to fall right into their dream career or life. It doesn't work like that. You will have to endure grueling 9 to 5 shifts over and over. You will be reprimanded and feel like a failure. But if you can remain receptive to little changes that make your day better from time to time rather than shutting down, you will eventually wriggle your way into a happier life like a plant growing towards a single ray of sunlight in a dark cave.
