Here in 2026. If you showed me that video of Zuck trying to ‘how do you do, fellow unwashed masses’ today, there is a zero percent chance I would believe it wasn’t AI. There’s something genuinely unsettling about watching him make hand gestures he clearly just learned from a PR coach to try and make himself seem more “approachable.”

Does anyone remember his (very quickly) aborted run at a presidential campaign? It’s a shame the company filed an injunction against the author of Careless People to prevent her talking about her book; I’d love to know if the unilateral scorn heaped on that idea by literally everyone on the internet had anything to do with him abandoning it so quickly. God I hope so.

Fun fact. they enforced there meta verse into the base vr area… it replaced having a homeworld (basicly a fancy vr background) wityh fake human speech and viasually in teh back. you never feel alone
