I wonder if the bit about getting your partner's name tattooed on your throat is a reference to the WWE wrestler, The Undertaker, who got his wife's name tattooed on his throat and then later had to get it removed after they divorced. Of course, I'm sure he's not the only guy who has done such a thing, but it's the first thing I thought of since it specifically mentioned the throat tattoo.
