That’s all cute but literally it’s the voices in my head having a zoom conference and a stand up comedy show at the same time that keeps me up til 4 mins before my wake up time

Sadly I have found that paying attention to my body more closely creates anxiety. I'm not a person who is very "present", IE I'm often in my head and not paying attention to my body, because my body feels awful most of the time.

Little bit overkill, but a little while back when I was in a phase of my life where I was constantly on my phone a lot at night I discovered something in the settings that was very helpful if you go under general settings and then under Accessibility, there is a setting that lets you turn the brightness down on your phone even more so than usual like even more so than just the regular brightness setting which if you’re like me and you enjoy listening to audiobooks or maybe even Just like watching certain kinds of content before bed could be helpful

Paradoxical insomnia is when you DO get enough sleep but you believe you have insomnia or sleep deprivation. I used to be very concerned about falling back asleep and was stressed in general about my sleep. I tried a 10k lux lamp to reset my clock, blue light blocking glasses, and all kinds of tips and tricks. Then I read the Sleep Solution by Dr. Winter. He is a sleep expert and offers excellent insight and solutions but I was intrigued by his sleepiness quiz. How likely are you to fall asleep while sitting on the toilet? At a red light? While eating dinner? I answered all of the questions and my sleepiness was low. Once I realized I was freaked out over my sleep for no reason, I started easily falling asleep if I woke up at night. My preoccupation with my sleep and my self diagnosed "insomnia" was no longer a problem.

I dont understand my body at all. Eat a huge greasy meal at noon = instant coma when i need to work. Eat a huge greasy meal at night = instant energy when i need to be sleeping
