I remember when I was younger seeing NIN stickers on cars and record store windows and had no clue about Reznor. So I went to our local store (Manifest Records- much love) and by the time I got to the track Down In It, I was moshing behind the wheel so hard, I slammed my head against the steering wheel!
Then I became a fan!😂

In my senior year of college, I choreographed a piece that told the story of a toxic relationship using the songs The Perfect Drug, Closer, and Hurt. It was…received. 😂 But I didn't care. It was something different and the piece I wanted. Excellent music.

Trivia time. Back in the 90's Peyton Manning was on the cover of TV Guide and did an interview with them. I think it was his senior year at Tennessee. They asked him what was the best part of growing up as Archie Mannings son. He said "Getting to live next door to Trent Reznor."

My favorite band since 95. The Downward Spiral was and still is the best album ever created (in my opinion). Only the ones who drowned deep into depression and never came back to surface can really connect to a full extent thru this masterpiece that still remains way ahead of its time. I had a feeling you would eventually mention them. Nice work.

Trent took what Al Jorgensen was doing with Ministry and made it sexy. There's a band you might want to think about covering some time. How one man from Chicago inspired so many other acts, but couldn't get out of his own way because of the heroin.
That first Manson record, Portrait . . . was pretty good. I think it's better than any of his other stuff. I'm in the minority, I know.
