I wanna quickly thank Keith Sharon from the Tennessean for coming on and talking about his work related to the case. The podcast he did is truly a defining document of this story, and I cannot recommend it enough. If you wanna check if out for yourself, I left links in the description.
And thank you as always for watching!!!

I'm a new subscriber so I don't know if you've covered this one yet but another interesting music death was Bobby Fuller who was found burned to death in the front seat of his car. Some think it was murder while others think it was suicide. If you haven't covered this case yet I hope you do soon.

I knew this would be about the Cashbox murder the second I saw the thumbnail. Thanks Unsolved Mysteries! ETA: I knew the case had eventually been solved (in fact if I recall the guy was actually on the episode eulogizing Kevin) but I didn't realize it was because an informant actually watched the episode. Loved that show!

At 1m10s you claim Cashbox & Record World existed in “the late nineteen hundreds”. You have your centuries confused. You meant late twentieth, otherwise you’re talking 189x.

It’s the mid to late 20th century. The mid to late 1900”s were 1905 to 1910.

March 9, 1989 is roughly 9 months before December 13, 1989. Confirmed: Taylor Swift reincarnated with payola insider knowledge to top the charts decades later. 😂
