What If | May 26, 2026

Discover how graphite powers the future at https://nmg.com/

The year is 2126, and you’re watching the Earth rise on a new day from the comfort of your home… on the moon. NASA just wrapped Phase One of building the first city on the Moon and while everyone talks expansion and new architecture (pause) it’s still the most lethal environment humans have ever faced.

You thought Antarctica was tough… at least it had oxygen. Today, you’re going to dive deep into our potential future and experience the reality of living on the moon, and spoiler alert, it is treacherous.

Humans are truly a fascinating species… destroying a perfectly balanced and breathtaking planet like Earth day by day, turning their own home uninhabitable with greed and stupidity …while pouring billions into making a dead rock like the Moon habitable. Instead of protecting paradise, we’re busy escaping the damage we caused ourselves. Peak human intelligence 🤣🌍🌑

If there were peace in the world, there would be enough resources for that.
As it is, most of the money goes to war zones. I don't see a large lunar base being built anytime soon.

We ain't ready for this. With how stupid people are right now with all the division/hostility? Last thing we need is start a war on the moon.

I just hope we don't ruin the moon like we ruined Earth with wars. Even if it's way too dangerous to fire weapons on the moon I don't trust that humanity ca keep itself in check.

What if the government and central banks stopped lying to everyone? What if the drugs actually stopped coming across the border? A wise man once said "Give me one what if and I'll give you two".

I used to work as a Nerf Herder up there for a few years.
    Nice gig, mostly.
But i had a controversial romance with a Twi'Lek lady, and when we parted I knew I just had to go home.

That is why robots are being built today so that these robots can be placed on the moon one day and take humanity to the universe but we are lagging because of all the "earth" issues such as disagreements and wars that are happening on planet earth. Humans will never survive on the moon because there is no oxygen nor water, so these robots are needed and it looks like China may be heading this particular team for all of us humans.

Hey, I am sorry for spamming, but I must to. Really ? Rail gun using electromagnets? Why? Why you do not do things properly? Rail gun uses different effect than coil gun which uses electromagnets or for this case it will be bullet train linear electric motor principle probably if they use it. Hard to say, if in 100 years will be used superconductor electromagnets or superconductor rail using Lorentz force effect. For sure, rail guns do not involve any electromagnets (even they use electromagnetic fields effects along rails and projectile)

20s in – If NASA ever had such development in their list of responsibilities … it is Like "What IF – US Defence department was gardening fans club?" … How many beautiful gardens all over the world will be there to visit if they spent $753 500 000 000 to $835 000 000 000 annually?

OK, so what if? … lets go
