The self-aware ones are the loneliest. Because you can see every social interaction for what it is — the performance, the scripts, the unspoken rules — and you can't unsee it. So you participate anyway, knowing it's a game. That's not wisdom. That's its own kind of prison.

Lol not me realizing were just waiting to die. We do things to fill in that time. Once you've done or tried most things that you wanted to do on this earth there's not much else to do just free roam and repeat the same missions. All I have left is watching my kids grow. After that just free roam. In the u.s. the culture is so messed up I genuinely haven't met anyone that truly is humble other than completely broken down people. The kids today think they're self aware and do the most unaware things then spit out philosophical quotes and truly believe that's what makes them humble, intelligent, stoic. Lol it's silly to watch and live through. All we can do is make decisions and live with the results whether it's good or bad lol. In the end we'll all be ok all we can truly hope for is we die in a good a gentle way. While I don't believe in any earthly religious god but I still do believe and pray for people in my own way.

The scariest thing about studying how great societies unraveled isn't the scale of the destruction — it's how ordinary the psychology was. No one thought they were the generation that would lose everything. Everyone assumed someone else was managing it. That assumption is almost universal in collapse.

Self awaraness is good in general but we have emotions which are defection of humanity. Our emotions are there to sabotage our perception. Emotions cause negative feedback of self awareness. Human brain is terrible and having too many false flags which sabotage ourselves

The psychological resistance to killing is the part nobody in these documentaries ever explains. The science behind why most soldiers couldn’t pull the trigger is genuinely disturbing.”

A pedra angular???

My mind is so noisy. Every events that happens, my mind overanalyses. It is consistently giving me stress, anxiety, and depression. Every reaction I have, every emotion I go through, every action I do, it analyses, I always find myself thinking about every stuff so deeply I always stare at nothing letting my body autopilot. Then, I'll be shocked out of it when my senses senses something, it's like waking up from a nap but you're not asleep. But when it comes to learning, it's very helpful but still annoying

I'm wondering if meaning and meaninglessness are merely bookends on one of the infinite dualistic spectra we seem to occupy as conscious beings. Then, it might follow that the oscillation between them is the experience, not necessarily something to be resolved? I'm not sure we need to solve the paradox at all. Maybe there's even a possibility that the constraints we bump into at the meaningless end are precisely what creativity needs to work with, that limitation might be the condition through which meaning gets generated rather than the obstacle it overcomes. All of this to ask a question about self-awareness itself: how self-aware are we really becoming if we're using that awareness to navigate toward the end of the spectrum that feels more innately embodied rather than just being fully immersed in wherever we are each moment, learning from the less embodied parts of the experience?

Actually self awareness can be liberating. Most people are partially aware of their condition, as much as provided by biology, and never fully get aware of the self as mostly get caught by emotions and desires at some moment.
The process is definitely hard and painful, but a rigorous and honest self observation can be transcendental.

Sometimes it seems that someone is living a dream lifestyle, but what really stands out is how intentional everything feels. Social media, e-commerce or any other online business only work long term when there’s structure behind them. That’s something that really clicked for me after reading Shadow Behind The Gate by Brian Rothschild. I'm now on $10k+ per month, wish me luck for the future! 🙂

I usually never post long comments like this, but I feel like I have to share because it helped me so much. Most financial advice is just garbage designed to keep you working forever, but Shadow Behind The Gate by Brian Rothschild is completely different. It gave me the actual strategies the truly wealthy use, especially about debt as a tool and using leverage, not cash.
