I think, had I already thrown the steak, I would’ve said that while I was cutting I made some stupid big unrelated gesture with my arm to be silly, and it flung off my knife.

The steak "sliding down the window" is the red flag for me, especially when both he AND his (supposed) wife emphasize it. Ain't no steak clinging to a window and sliding down Looney Tunes style after being thrown "baseball style".

Another reason why the stories are written similarly COULD be that the wife wanted to tell her side and basically had her husband write it for her because maybe she isn’t a good writer or doesn’t know how Reddit works.

when i was a kid my dad's wife made me eat those nasty pressed powder flinstone vitamins with dinner, id shove them under the seat cushion after hiding them in my glass of milk and forget about them. well one day she decides to clean under the cushion and there was a hardened mass of cheesey dark purple vitamins i had packed together with my body weight on the cushion over probably months of this. i got my ass handed to me over it 😭

I really thought this one was going to be similar to the poop window, where the steak falls down into a gap between the inside and outside window and proceeds to rot there in the boss's house over the next weeks and months and she ends up having to move. Bonus points if they'd come up with some crazy plan to sneak in and remove it during the night…
