Tom Keifer STILL Has It? | John Corabi Concert Review

The Hair Metal Guru | May 18, 2026

I went to the Tom Keifer & John Corabi concert in Medina, MN, last night, May 15th, and I hoped to answer a couple questions at the show… How would John Corabi pull from his entire career to create a set list, and how would his band translate this songs live, and…

Can Tom Keifer STILL deliver those classic Cinderella screams and growls live in 2026?

In this video, I reviewed the entire concert experience from start to finish, including:
• Tom Keifer’s vocals and stage performance
• John Corabi’s set and crowd reaction
• The atmosphere and energy of the show
• The musicianship and song selection
• Whether Keifer can still handle the classic Cinderella material live

I’ll also share my personal experience from the night, including meeting John Corabi!

If you’re a fan of Cinderella, Mötley Crüe, The Dead Daisies, or classic Hair Metal, this is a show review you won’t want to miss.

Did Tom Keifer STILL have it? Watch and let me know what YOU think in the comments!

I wish John Corabi stayed with the Scream. That is my favourite thing he’s ever done. The Motley album isn’t bad, but I just think his voice offers more to a more blues rock style. He’s like a grittier version of Paul Rodgers.
Tom Keifer is 1 of my favourite rockers of all time. He’s still writing & recording great songs that are definitely worthy of his past glories in Cinderella. I wish he’d come to Australia, but I doubt he ever will. 😩

I'll be seeing Keifer in a few weeks but john won't be opening, I did see him open before about 2 years ago, playing acoustic. He puts on well hell of show!!! Definitely will get the new CD !

Man Corabi couldn’t be the most awesome guy ever! I ran into him (please don’t judge) at Walmart and I said hello and he was just so down to earth and cool. Huge fan of Scream, Motley 94 and Union! Also picked up his book! Totally check this one out dudes, this man paid his dues three times over!!

Great review! I have to see Tom, at least, once a year! Seeing him, Corabi, and Buckcherry , in a couple of weeks at the Ryman, in Nashville. Tom never disappoints! Cinderella has always been one of my favorite bands from the era.

I've always seen Tom Keifer as one of the handful of truly legit 'hair metal' guys, talent wise. Jani Lane was another one. Just as Jani WAS Warrent, Tom WAS Cinderella.

He wrote the songs, he sang them, he played guitar, keyboards, and was the face of the band.

And man, that voice during their heyday. Probably the coolest voice out there.

Tom managed to transition back into a club musician seamlessly . The songs have always been there , they work in various approaches . He should very much do another solo record

I saw Tom on tour after his first solo album came out. The setlist if I recall was mixed with Cinderella and solo. I loved hearing the solo stuff…..so I'm in the minority. Have seen him twice since then. Sounded good every time I saw him. I've seen JC solo and with the Dead Daisies. Those shows were excellant too!

Even if you are rambling, very cool review dude , gives guys like me somewhere to see and keep up to date with these artists as they don't venture down to Australia all that often or at all!

Thought about going to this show a little later in PA. Mostly because of Corabi (new album is very good) & his attachment to the Crue although I do like Keifer & Cinderella too.

Just wish Tom Keifer and the rest of the cinderella band would get together and release all those domo's they had over the years before they got a record deal! This would be great to have in anyone's collection some great songs on those demos and they deserve to see the light of day, there's at least a few albums worth of demo's, they have been released on youtube but the quality is pretty rough!

Great summary. I've seen Tom several times now, and he impresses me every time. The guy puts everything on that stage and engages the audience to keep them in it. I love hearing his solo stuff alongside the Cinderella hits. I wish it was Cinderella, but Tom is keeping the music alive exceptionally well.

I've been a fan of Corabi since the Crue days. I saw him open with an acoustic set for Tom a few years ago, and I thought he was incredible. I had high expectations for the full band show, and he didn't disappoint. His new stuff is solid (I agree, not every song is killer, but overall, it's a very solid album from start to finish). He surrounded himself with a very talented band, and his voice is strong.

Overall, an excellent night of rock.

I know what you mean about Cinderella live is one best shows i seen apart from Kiss 96, saw them in 91 when they toured with slaughter two of my fav bands, song that got me hooked on Cinderella was Gypsy Road when heard it on Headbangers Ball, will be seeing John next year to when Dead Daisies play here

Hey Anthony, just watched your review of the Kiefer/Corabi show and figured I'd chime in.

I saw Cinderella twice on the Long Cold Winter tour. The first show was with Winger and Kix opening and the second show was with Badlands and Tangier opening. Of course they were great both times.

I went and saw Tom play about a year ago in Oklahoma City with LA Guns opening. Tom was great. Everything I expected him to be and what can you say about LA Guns. I've probably seen them 15 times over the last 30+ years and Tracii is a hell of a great guitar player. Phil still sounds great too.

I'm going to be seeing Tom and John (Corabi) on this tour in July. Sadly I've never got to see Crabby perform with any of his former bands. I've wanted to see him since the Scream days and the album he did with Mick, Nikki and Tommy is still one of my favorite albums of all time.

I've watched some of your interviews over the last year or two and always enjoy them.

    Keep up the good work.
PS: See of you can get an interview with Jake E Lee
