I just watched an interview on Vegas' business model. Basically the takeaway is we are in a K shaped economy and Vegas is going for fewer "big spenders" over chasing more "budget spenders". The guy said that there is not as much business but the rich are supporting the same amount that huge crowds used to bring in. I dunno how true it is, but it seems to be true in the rest of the country. The top 1% are spending like crazy and the rest of us are tossing a coin to see if we buy food or pay rent….
