My background has zero to do with farming (although I do live rural now) but I gotta say that your videos are a window into a world that I find fascinating and heartening. In a world gone MAD it is sooo nice to be reminded of the simple beauty of life on the farm. Much respect to you and your partner from us up in Ontario Canada.

I find myself reflecting on this homesteader in Vermont with a mix of frustration and disbelief. He possesses a farm rich in land, livestock, and genuine potential for something remarkably self-sustaining, yet its capacity remains largely unrealized. Rather than cultivating it into a purposeful and productive system, his attention shifts toward pursuits that feel only marginally relevant to the property itself. To me, this represents a clear inefficiency in both vision and resource allocation. It’s difficult not to imagine how others, given the same circumstances, would transform such a place into something truly exceptional. Still, that thought brings a certain compassion, knowing how fortunate that opportunity really is.

Good to see all the animals, especially the ducks on the pond

I love watching the cats and dogs have their moments together. Ginny falling after getting too relaxed and then popping up again quickly made me think of PeeWee saying, "I meant to do that." And while PeeWee was a rock star in the musical sense, he was a total rock star in terms of comedy. Perhaps a little boy cow could be named for him?
