I’m back! And so is Marvel! After a few years of so-so projects and a couple of box office flops, the MCU is back with another team movie in which a bunch of characters fight a character and punch things and jump really high!
Thunderbolts* is the culmination of a phase (probably) and does raise a lot of questions. Like why did Valentina give them all a heads up with a timer in the incinerator? How did Valentina not know that her limo driver was a superhero and the father of one of her operatives? What did Taskmaster fans ever do to Kevin Feige?

My biggest peeve was how did budget Captain America smuggle his shield out from the vault under his henchman disguise. That thing does not (normally) fold up

The movie was surprisingly good. A serious commentary on depression. Did not expect it to have that depth. My wife cried.

I still haven't seen the movie, but this sounds like the resolution of this entry in phase 17 or whatever is acknowledging the validity of the Jungian shadow self and both accepting and embracing it within ourselves and others?
