As a dog lover I think she’d make an amazing vet’s assistant. You have to be really empathetic with animals and be very passionate about it. She sounds motivated and sweet, and like it’s her family holding her back, Not her autism.

I might be mixing movies, since both sisters marry on screen, but I thought it was on this one that the mother was making a big speech on how "No, of course I'm not prejudiced!" only for one of the other daughters to say she has been married to a woman for a decade and, yet, the mother still calls her "your friend" and doesn't invite her wife to family events.
Then, when the autistic daughter marries, she invites the sister and sister-in-law to be her maids of honor or something.

As someone with autism, and who has friends and family with different levels of ASD I found this movie lovely. It showed that people with developmental delays deserve compassion and deserve to not be infantalised.

I’m not understanding why you chose this particular film with this subject matter to have fun with. I usually love your vids..but not this one. I didn’t laugh once. Very inappropriate. This is not good. And that’s a thumbs down for me! Very disappointed in you.

I saw Juliette Lewis dressed as a hoo ker walking down Spadina Street in Toronto arguing with a homeless man (who turned out to be the directoe of the movie they were shooting). She heard me say "hey, that hoo ker looks like Juliette Lewis" and she stuck her tongue out at me. Thats all I've got

With respect to disabled actors it's definitely easier to work with abled actors. The key of course is for the role to be played respectfully and accurately.

Daniel got drunk at a Christmas party not a wedding. The oldest sister was also gay ..Which her mother didn’t approve of.. So there were only two weddings

I love the scene when she's finally having it out with her mom and was like "I'll decorate my own wedding! I hated everything you did! I hate this dumb hat! I hate these shoes! Your ugly centerpieces! The only thing I liked was this dress, [completely changes tone] this dress is pretty, I'm gonna keep it
