With the decline of CRT TVs, precision-based Lightgun games have faded into nostalgia, becoming a cherished memory for many. While several solutions exist to bring these classics to modern displays, they often come with compromises.

G’AIM’E is different. There are no complex setups, no workarounds. Simply plug and play for a seamless experience, enjoy classic Lightgun games the way they were meant to be played.

The G’AIM’E gun uses our own bespoke technology that utilizes a high-resolution camera and AI; in place of the traditional infrared used in Lightgun of the past. We have packaged this with a custom licensed version of TIME CRISIS, faithfully recreated from the original arcade ROM to give you a new and unique arcade experience!

Step back into the role of Richard Miller, the elite secret agent whose speed and marksmanship make him a one-man army. TIME CRISIS returns in its purest form, powered by the G’AIM’E Gun; giving you the same intense, time-based action you remember, now playable on modern displays.

    🚨 REVIEW NOTE 🚨
I have had quite a few questions about my shooting accuracy during gameplay, so let me post here for full transparency. Firstly, I'm not great at gun games, but more importantly, my attention was split pretty severely between playing the game and trying to stay in frame to record the play session in some meaningful way. I found myself getting too close to the TV several times – the gun needs to always be able to see the whole TV in order to triangulate position and I wasn't doing it any favors.

I could have cherry-picked my footage and only shown segments where I was picking off targets more easily (mostly later in my play session), but knew that would be dishonest, so you got the footage I shot – warts & all.

    Thanks for the inquiries.

And if you're still interested, I shot a brief follow-up where I try to eliminate all of the variables I note above to provide a more accurate representation of my experience with the gun's accuracy. You can see that here: https://youtu.be/uAqNICntcHw

TRUTH: I was hoping you would be honest about how ABYSMAL the aim and lag is on this device but you completely ignored it. Even though it was clear as day in your footage you were struggling to hit the easiest of targets, shooting all around and spamming the trigger because you cannot rely on aim to one shot targets. Anyone reading this comment should be aware that no matter how many multiple calibration I performed, making sure room lighting was optimal, tv settings on low latency, no adjustment I made brought this system even close to being usable, let alone fun.

It’s OK for starters but it’s very limited. I’ll just wait until it gets modded by someone. LOL. Also, I can just mod my own lightgun of any type with the Gun4IR kit. It’s pricy but it’s universal. It can be used with any emulator console that has a usb port and allows a software install.

“People understand the reason for it to work, they don’t understand how it works.”

I will admit it it’s impressive. Sadness is it only has four games. The use of AI does not sound promising…

I gotta say I like the look of this. I stumbled across it by accident when window shopping. I was planning to get a large CRT just for Time Crisis and a few other shooters, as everything non-light gun can play on my 4k still.

I guess my only concerns are about distance from the screen. I have a larger tv, it wont be easy to step super far away lol

Having purchased the ultimate bundle and tried out on 4 different TV’s I can honestly say, this product sucks and is unplayable.
Save your money. Sent mine back for a refund.

Has anyone tried placing white tape along the edges of their tv?
    Something I noticed on the 1up cabnet….
I'm gonna try to see if that will stabilize the accuracy.
Theoretically, it should help the gun to read the screen boarders.

Do not buy this if you expect a good plug and play for Time Crisis. Dogshit for accuracy which is important for a lightgun game that requires that. Quality product regardless. Its modding potential is massive though so imma keep mine to rent to a tuner.

Hoping @Titchgamer will break it apart.

$450 where I live, no recoil, no ability to add new games, no thanks. This is an expensive novelty that will wear off fast. Can't believe how expensive it is given its limitations. You can tell from the audio how much it lags and how inaccurate it is, not what you want in a shooting game.

I would advise against this product. I was really looking forward to it but the accuracy and lag even on a good tv and setup aren’t good enough. I only got this product in November. I’ve instead bought the sinden lightgun and although it’s more tricky to set up with software and emulators, it’s worth it. Far superior. The difference is night and day 🙂
