Be honest—did anyone else think Teen Witch was going to change your life… and then spend the next week wishing you had your own Madame Serena? That movie was awkward, chaotic, and absolutely perfect. What’s your favorite cringe moment—“Top That,” the prom dance, or the vanishing boyfriend?

Make sure to subscribe for more ‘80s deep dives, and share this one with a friend who still believes “Finest Hour” deserved a Grammy.

This is still one of my favorite movies to this day! My sister and I have very different media tastes and this is one movie we can always agree on to watch after all of this time. Ngl, I would still wear some of Louise's outfits today in 2025!

9:43 "Not a Student film made over Spring Break."
Well there goes my high and mighty attitude about the home movie I filmed over Spring Break '88 about my Trans Am, equipped with Dr. Feelgood playing on the cassette deck.😂❤

The real cringe was having a guy playing a "teenager" in said rap battle wirh a stage 3 receding hairline, which in itself is totally ok, but having a guy that looked like late 30s at best and mid 40a at worst was creepy and laughable 😂

Omg I haven’t thought of this movie in over twenty years!!!!!! I was 6 when I first saw Teen Witch and it was on on Saturdays and summers FOR YEARS! Is this the same actress that played Pippy Longstocking?!?

I loved this movie including the lame rap 😂🤷🏿‍♀️
Ok I found it on Tubi & watching it as an adult is totally different than when I watched it back in the 80's 😂

So you mean to tell me all 80s and 90s highschool dances dont break out into a choreographed dance sequence? No wonder i was looked at weird when i kept trying to get everyone to start dancing when i brought in my dads VHS camera!

I loved “Top That”, it was the most memorable part of the movie for me😅 I was only 5yrs old when it came out; loved all the cringe that was this movie. I also thought Madam Serena’s house looked familiar….just didn’t put two and two together since I was terrified by Thriller as a kid🤭 And I only realized a few years ago that Blake Lively was Robyn’s sister. It’s a a cult classic through and through; I watch it whenever I see it’s available to stream. It’s definitely a capsule of the ‘80s. 😊

We didn’t have cable growing up and the main reason I wanted to go to my mawmaw’s was to watch this movie. I had to sneak it cause she always walked in during the scene where she was removing some clothing and shoes to go see Brad, 🙈 lol
