Seeing this pitch meeting in 2025, with all the F4 stuff old and new, can't we all just agree that the Fantastic Four is a stupid idea in the modern day? Not every old idea is worth pursuing, especially in the comic book genre, and the Fantastic Four just DO NOT WORK in modern movie making and societal context. They need to STOP TRYING TO MAKE THE FANTASTIC FOUR WORK. Yet, bone-headed comic-obsessed movie studios must-MUST-milk every angle of every possible comic book to get a successful movie that hopefully lessens the bleeding caused by every other MCU crap movie they barfed out at a huge loss for the last decade. Sorry for that big run-on sentence!

I give this 9/10. Mr. Fantastic is an almost Clark Kent everyman. Sue Storm has her talents but is girly, and NOT an annoying Mary Sue. Johnny has a lot of power, but is weighed down by his ego. As powerful as THING is, he is weighed down by his sadness. Dr. Doom is the bad guy. But we at least somewhat understand him. (Especially when he is brutally fired. ) When Sue and Dr. Doom fight, he takes her down. Well, of course he would! He's twice her size!
