Look the 80s were a bit hokey but it had authenticity and spoke from experience.

I'm 42 and I also remember rapping a presentation when I was 9 or 10 years old (1993?). I actually had a couple of guys in my class do the back up beats for it "pff, chee… pff, pff, chee… pff, chee, pff, pff, chee". I would pay so much money to have a recording of it that I would never show anyone but watch it myself when I need a good laugh.
