Is Paul Mescal from county Kildare more "Irish" than Jessie Buckley from county Kerry! Mescal is of Gaelic stock. Buckley is a Franco Norman name, but in her defence, they integrated well.

Jesse is as Irish as The Blarney Stone, She is from one of the most Beautiful spots in Ireland called "Killarney" in County Kerry. Win or Lose ? She will always be a Proud Irish Girl. Thomas Collopy, Limerick, Ireland.

The hint of disbelief on "You played the harp" straight out of the gate almost made water come out of my nose. Love their banter.

I used to cry so much when I was a child. Of course, I must have been annoying. But I kinda miss being in touch with my soul. I can't cry or laugh as much as I did as a child.

Would like to see Jessie's Lady MacBeth. A favorite play of mine, Ruth Nega's LMcB was my favorite of all time. In her native Irish accent alongside Daniel Craig on Broadway.

One of the most Irish moments there was when Jessie pointed to Paul as if to compliment him over the ability to cry and Paul's instinctive Irish reaction to a compliment was to say under his breath "f@*k off!"

1st and foremost, I am proud of Irish actors and these 2 are excellent examples. 2nd surely it's not necessary to look at someone's nationality in deciding who to cast but rather who is best suited, who can most portray the trials and jubilations of a character?

Any reason why this famous English couple had to be portrayed by a bunch of foreigners?. Looking forwards to the James Joyce biopic, I believe Brian Blessed is in talks for playing the leading role

Jessie and Paul are terrific, so is the film.
The video's voiceover is soulless and grating. If you're not going to have an interviewer and you want the questions read aloud, at least spend the time to have an actual human read then. Between this, the awful shilling for studios, and the pro-Israeli propaganda, Variety keeps sinking lower and lower.
