No offence, but Dave wrote some of Metallica’s best songs. What would be awesome would be Dave, and Metallica do an album together finally. 1 album. 1 tour………oh and bring Jason back and have 2 bass players too. Talk about a “Super band!!” Guess what people? If they were all offered enough money to make this happen, it could happen…….

PS I would buy the album and pay $500 a ticket to see that show too!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘

I believe Megadeth eclipsed Metallica creatively. I just don't like Metallica. Their music lacks tonal variety. After a Metallica song, I feel like all I heard was e minor over and over. So I don't understand why Mustaine cares because I see him as the winner. Megadeth is probably the number one thrash metal band.

I’d love to see a physical altercation between Kirk and Mustaine. Dave trained MMA for years. I’m personally a bigger fan of Metallica than Megadeth, but Kirk is such a worm of a person it’d be nice to see him eat some asphalt

Listened to the KH vs DM comparison vids…and i gatta say I’m glad Hammett took over and redid the solos….earlier Kirk was hungry for it and on point…but in the end it’s whatever was best for the band, and that was Kirk

People don't seem to understand that people ask these questions, and Dave simply answers..
The internet recycles all this shit over and over BECAUSE it gets attention and people end up thinking it is just that Dave can't get over it all. Daves music speaks for itself different band member or not Megadeth makes way better music. People don't stop asking the same questions. And yes at the time he had EVERY RIGHT to feel betrayed when they kicked him out. Maybe HE WAS a violent drunk or too aggressive, but they could have talked to him /gave him an ultimatum also.

At one point, Dave seemed as though he was finally making peace about the Metallica firing. He was even talIking about forming a super group with Hetfield and Ulrich. Then Hetfield was asked about it in an interview and said he wished that Dave would keep his mouth shut about the super group. Also, told him to move on with his life.

Dave's huge ego renders him delusional – the actual truth is that Kirk took Dave's sloppy unmelodic solos from the Kill 'Em All songs and made them way better.

I'm surprised Kirk was kept and lasted in the band being a mediocre guitar player. Any of Megadeth's guitarrists has been way way superior to Hammet by far.

The only reason to watch Some Kind of Monster is to see Dave whine to Lars "You guys are successful and I'm not, people laugh at me on the street…I wish you sent to rehab instead of firing me…"

Dave is the pathetic teenie bopper ex girlfriend.

For a guy worth millions of dollar's,and sold millions of albums,he sure sounds like a pissed off dude. Thank God he is never satisfied,it's what makes Dave different. 🤟

Kirk's a good guitarist. He was blisteringly quick back then and his playing was very articulate and he had a good guitar tone on that album. There's no doubt that Dave was innovative and contributed something significant for all of heavy metal, but he needs to shut his mouth and accept the fact that Metallica may never have been as big if he was still in the band. Kirk's solo work is really good on that album.

Don't get his gripe. He was kicked out because he was not getting along with the others. He has produced a long, popular and overall,a more consistent catalogue of music than his former bandmates. He's not his own tribute act either. He's still creating fresh sounding music. And he's not dead or poor, despite his best efgirts to be so. I think his problem is he never had a Master of Puppets. Sad to watch him not realising his own brilliance because he's a bit of a twat

I mean, what the fuck more could you ask for?? You are MEGADETH.

But what is it, Dave? One week he says he loves the guys and would love to play with them again and then the next it's that they're lying beta males. This goes back and forth every month ffs. Pick a narrative.

"Even though he makes the world's most intricate, beautiful wood-engravings now on a professional level, when he started he didn't even know how to use a chisel or what a "bevel" was: it was hilarious because he was an apprentice and so in the beginning he was a learner – that means he's really a fraud, even though now he is a renowned wood carver. Because he started somewhere, and unless you're a perfect genius from the start of your profession, you're a loser forever" – Dave Mustaine Logic.
