I love Mick..but he sad some wild things when all of this stuff came out. Yeah, Motley have used backing tracks for decades..but I highly doubt the bass was pre recorded. Why would you pre record the easiest bass parts in the history of rock. You can't even call them bass lines..or parts. 95% of the time, Nikki Sixx just plays 'doot-doot-doot-doot' pedalled root notes. It wouldn't make sense.

There new song does not even sound like motley. It's like Nikki's junk band song or a song Manson said no to. No mick no cure in my eyes. I can't support a drunk driver who killed someone or a so-called man who bashed his wife. It wasn't Nikki's bass playing (lol) or woman bashers drumming or pissheads voice that got me into crue it was micks playing. He had some great riffs.

It's pretty clear Tommy , Nikki , and Vince are trying to Pull a Paul Stanley and Gene Simmonds move on Mick devaluing him in the the Band . Paul and Gene got rid of Ace , Peter , and Vinnie very similarly trying to Cut them out of Royalties on their Parts in the band's Music , and their makeup designs . Kiss has been doing that Lip Syncing thing and Backup Click Tracks for the last two years , so Motley thought they could do that too .

Had those other 3 losers fired Mick in 84 MC would have died after shout ( THEIR MASTERPIECE IMHO. ) Mick carried their sirru asses for decades. Glad he left and is now kicking ass with his new band. The new tracks sound AMAZING. CLASSIC MARS.

Mick is my favourite guitarist ever, he inspired me to pick up guitar so what they're doing is full-blown-ass…
I wasn't around in the 80s (or 90s for that matter) but clips I've seen on YT shows me plenty proof that he's a god (Even from in the 80s, even 70s pre Motley stuff).

Lost his memory? He can still play every single riff & song.. just as they were recorded.. note for note! No changing things around at all.. just as they were recorded! There is nothing wrong with his mind! He still remembers having to carry the band & that they would have been nothing without him. He also remembes Nikki having to use backing tracks because he didn't know how to play his instrument! He is the milli vanilli of rock!

I HEAR A LOT OF PRO INDUSTRY PEOPLE TALKING NOW ABOUT DRUMMERS USING A PRE RECORDED KICK DRUM TRACK BUT THATS ALL NOT THE WHOLE KIT … AND THEY ALSO USE THEIR TRIGGERED KICKS ALONG WITH IT … FROM WHAT I HEARD IT HELPS A LOT WITH THE SOUND SINCE EVERYONE IS USING LOTS OF BACKING TRACKS NOW !

MICK CAME FROM A DIFFERENT ERA AND THATS ALL GOOD BUT THE OTHER GUYS WERE MOST LIKELY THINKING GEORGE LYNCH, JAKE E LEE, D'MARTINI, AND ALA EDDIE VH … THAT PROBABLY WOULDVE PHUCKED IT ALL UP … MICK AND HIS WRITING CAME OUT OF THE MICHAEL SCHENKER, GARY MOORE, ISH OLD SCHOOL WAY OF PLAYING AND BOTH HAVE THEIR SPOT IN GUITAR HISTORY !!! Nikki and Tommy wanted a pretty boy guitarist – someone more marketable, but Mick Mars is the sound of Motley Crue. Huge riffs, huge sound…guitar driven rock songs. Nikki's bass and Tommy's drums were entirely replaceable.

Mick is what made MC. But there is a chance he is experiencing dementia. My Mom was the same, very defensive and angry if we tried to talk to her about it. Nikki got a Mick tattoo.

If Daisley's story is true he not only "saved Mick's neck" but more importantly saved Nikki, Vince, and Tommy's careers. If they fired Mick the Crue would have been just another of the countless metal bands who splashed onto the scene in the early 80s then disappeared.
