Man, I am so glad not to have that neurosis that there's a frowning white-haired Father God judging the quick-and-the-dead, who in all likely hood, would condemn me to eternal perdition for not joining this-or-that faction of faithful robots with their mental idolatry of 'Infinite Creator.'

'Christianity' is a malignant hybrid pigeon-rat of radically different world-views and traditions all sewn-together, somehow sold as Absolute Truth, yet endlessly mutating while infecting the minds of Humanity. The 'kernel' of the faith is not love but Fear, and it perverts everything.

And it clearly doesn't work in keeping humanity empathetic to one another. Quite the opposite, in fact, when you review the history…

It’s narcissism, or more broadly Cluster B personality disorders, in principle. I love how Christianity describes what psychiatry has only recently started to diagnose. Narcissistic personality disorder is mostly untreatable because the patient is usually unable to accept personal accountability, and without that there can be no redemption.

I am a therapist and I have a just couple of such cases i decade. It goes nowhere. The patient just tries to argue with you that he is completely fine and everyone else is the problem, so after a while you start wondering why he is in therapy in the first place.

But I can tell you that for such personalities, it´s just pure hell in their inside world.

At the end Cliffe admitted that you can be forgiven whenever you genuinely ask for forgiveness regardless of how long its been, which means there is no truly unforgivable sin the idea of God hardening someone's heart and locking it in permanently is incorrect.

Basically it's a sin not having a relationship with god and can't be forgiven unless you feel it in your heart to ask forgiveness in a way that's not self preserving, which is the hardest part for atheists.

They're basically equivocating being eternally unrepentant of your own volition with blaspheming the holy spirit. Now, why even bother calling that an unforgivable sin? The distinction seems superfluous. Obviously you can't forgive one who never repents.

If someone sins their whole life and completely removes themselves from god and in the last weeks of their life they repent, they are forgiven, if that's the case blasphemy against the holy spirit just means dying without repenting/asking for forgiveness which wouldn't award you forgiveness anyway making that sin meaningless.

Alex was really reaching for an argument on this subject… I don't know what was so difficult about it. It is pretty cut and dry, especially when we keep in mind that we are not in OUR world, rather we are the TRESPASSERS in HIS world. It's easy for us to reach and say this is unfair, but what is fair? WE ARE BORN IN AND TO SUFFER – it is life, not up for question, or debate, it is just what it is; but that we are born, is that not enough to be truly alive? The book of Job, and Ecclesiastes both express this beautifully.

The problem with every single reader of the King James Bible is that it has been shorn of soo many books that formed part of the original bible which informs us all that God can be accessed by all souls without the provision of politicisation. This concept is in keeping with Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism and Sikhi. Christians must go back to the oldest forms of the Bible available, maybe the Ethiopian Bible as an example, to realise how politically abused the King James Bible actually is.

I believe it’s when you consciously choose to go against God, calling the light, that which is bad. The clue is in the context in which this comes up in the Bible. They know Jesus is of the light, but they call him the opposite. They were blaspheming towards Jesus in real time. That’s why he said that to them. It’s what Satan did. In full awareness and knowledge he went against God. It’s the opposite of “forgiven them for they know not what they do”. This is “don’t forgive them, for they are fully aware of what they do”.

How I understand it is like gouging out your own eyes and no longer being able to see the light. Sinn is like closing your eyes, blaspheming the Holy spirit is gouging out once eyes to ensure to never see the light again. It's an active choice to fully separate, to fully eternally rejecting the light and salvation.

I grew up religious, not anymore, though. My understanding of the unforgivable sin, was that you must have a perfect knowledge of the Holy Spirit and the gospel, and still choose to live a life against God in order to never be forgiven. This interpretation still leaves room for the regret of blaspheming against the Holy Spirit why he keeps trying to bring up because nobody can have a perfect knowledge of God these days/ever only the biblical profits.

I consider that the unforgivable sin is actually determined in the judgement after death but that's mostly because we're not exposed to the direct presence of God yet. It's not measured by works but by where the heart is headed to. Those rare instances that Cliffe mentions just so happen when the subjects are facing God himself one way or another even before their demise:
+ Pharaoh denied Moses' request, even after watching the power of God in the 1st row seat. His heart was already hardened.
+ The Pharisees were literally accusing Jesus in his face.
+ That thief that asked Jesus to remember him was already on his last minutes, yet his heart was already directed to Him, thus being accepted into Paradise.

I think this is quite wrong, the statement comes after the Pharisees accuse Christ of being Satan, it's pretty clear this is what is meant. Anyone who tries to convince others the tenants of his teachings are the path to evil is blaspheming the spirit, and this makes sense as the anti-Christ will bring the majority of the world into his view by teaching the opposite of Christ, to hate God, hate your 'neighbours', to be prideful and forgo meekness, to value wealth and the material world, and that Christ was not the truth but a darkness. And so that the few believers left will be condemned based solely on their belief.
It has nothing to do with a vague heart hardening or general immoral lifestyle, it is an active stance against the truth of the word to corrupt souls as the Pharisee wanted to do even in the presence of miracles, believing so much that the spirit was corrupt and need be destroyed so as to contrive the crucifixion. It is an unbelief so strong it doesn't just cause sins, it causes an active stance against the spirit, to take the sword to the word and anyone left who believes in it.

I think it's being lost that the unforgivable sin, is not so much any single act or period of acts of "Blasphemy" against the Lord. It is entering a permanent state of being in which the complete rejection, likely knowningly so, that there is zero desire in the heart to accept salvation, or seek forgiveness. The rebellious self- justification that removes all motivations to return or repent completely, including desire to be connected, inspiration from the spirit, even guilt or fear. It is unforgivable because you have moved your soul into a realm of incapbability to ever ask. I don't believe the blood of Christ abandons us, but instead we abandon it. Feeling any of those things, even worrying if you have committed the "unforgivable sin" is a clear sign that we have not and the spirit is still at work in your life.

We have to be forgiven …! Let's talk about how good great and powerful god is. the truth my man of Faith, by the way do you know what Faith actually is ? Hope is way better … The definition of Faith : is to invest your trust and convictions on someone or something literally meaning you don't have the truth because if you have truth, faith doesn't exist it is not needed. Hope on the other hand is to wish for the best POSSIBLE outcome ! isn't that better ? you already know it's true… but forgive me i forgot.. you don't have the the truth. And all you do is pretend you know the truth to a point where you aren't even truthful to yourself when you are doing a "leap of faith" into darkness not knowing the truth. So everyday you ask people around you about their faith and how your faith is so strong so you must be right and try to drag others with you that is your mission is it not ? to make others follow you in a leap into darkness without the truth isn't that the truth ?… and then you lie and come up with more lies that god speaks to you and then that you saw jesus and you cannot describe what you have felt and how great it is.. etc etc like most catholic priests right keep lying and lying and lying and drag more weak poor desperate people and then you pass your little basket to take their money so that the church can have more golden ornamentations more money for the Vatican right ? beautiful golden crosses and all the beautiful art and display of the heavens which is a sin for your information in your own book isn't that odd ? Now your god is all powerful right ? and your faith is oh so strong ! so let me know if i don't speak the truth ! Let's say it's true your faith was proven truthful, we agree that God created everything… now look at everything, we are stuck on a rock floating in infinite darkness with nowhere to go or no other signs of intelligible life anywhere else then on this world. You are literally burning over time and will die and lose everyone and everything you love. His creation : A world of chaos and injustice where nothing is fair unless we fight wars for it in reality everything is at war down to the smallest atom all the molecules of your body are constantly at war just to live another day… some lifeforms including us are born in wealth like a plant growing in the light casting a shadow on another doomed to die in misery, a world where every living beings must kill and consume other living beings to survive literally ! Now look at the bible, in the big picture nobody seems to see this for some reason but the story starts with Adam and Eve with god telling them not to eat from the tree or they will die, and There's a snake that tells them that it's not true they won't die they will gain knowledge… So the fact is that God lies .. and the snake told the truth… now what is the message of God ? basically if you give your soul to god he won't burn you for eternity and if you do you will go to paradise ! So you know he's a liar then you know he works with threats and promises… then you read a bit more God asks to kill other humans even the children and women then further there's a thing called the Passover where you must put a blood sacrifice on your door or else god will send death over everyone's house and kill everyone's first born … what a good god he is. i could go on and on and speak about the truth on what happened to Jesus a name that comes from the council of Rome, Greeks that decided to call him ye sus which became Jesus with for example king James and co because it literally means hail Zeus.. i mean straight up their original god at the time… the person they tried to use to appease the people was infact Yeshua… then you have the fact that he was arrested at 4am in a park with a nacked young boy but hey let's just say it wasn't the reason he got crucified.. and more because he was disturbing the peace and the grip the empire was losing on the people. then you have the trinity lie that comes from guess who.. the holy roman church because Constantinople divided themselves to become the orthodox church when they started to add things to the story like the trinity which they did not agree on… then you got the Michealangelo lie .. Jesus was not white he was Hebrew so no matter what amount of arguing.. he was'nt white so all the paintings all the art in all the churches of the entirety of America and the Vatican and most of Europe is a lie. Now let's talk about Mary Magdalene, apparently she was very close to Jesus then you do some research and discover that it comes from an ancient town called the Magdala where in thoses times it was considered a place of medicine where you can go and gain strength and become elegant and above all spiritually born again with the mystery ! But in reality, it was where priests ran around doing fumigations to raise peoples "spirituality" on their journey which was basically drugs… then you have the born again thing coming out .. the great mystery ! well in theses times you we're literally born again where they used dotes and antidotes you basically got venom and drugs then, and then you would see god and the kingdom of heaven !!! and they brought you back with the antidotes. what a spiritual journey guess it inspired the Medicinal logo we use since FOREVER 2 snakes around a staff MAGIK!… I mean there is an infinite amount of things we could talk about how they burned women alive for not being of their imposed faith then you have the crusades where they killed every innocent that did not follow their religion, all the stolen art of our true history the Ethiopian belief of reincarnation all the libraries they built their church on to hide the evidence. the 2 km vault of history the Vatican stole from humanity…. and so on and on. I wanna talk to this people bc I know what they are saying. Like they are saying if ur don't believe in god and don't ask for forgiveness he won't forgive you. But then they say he can forgive you but hall you gotta do is submit and obey god and he will forgive you for anything you have done don't matter if you killed a who generation of humans don't matter if you raped kids and did the worst things as long has you regret it u will be forgiven so with that point anybody can be forgiven bc once u meet guy wouldn't that person be like oh shit I never thought you were real I'm Soo sorry forgive me please I trust you now that ur in front of me?
