Based on ideas posited in Julio’s new Off-Broadway solo show, Color Theories, the two of them get to the bottom of what color Barbie the Movie, Martha Stewart, and Jeremy Strong are. They also discuss the behind-the-scenes story of Julio’s viral SNL sketch, “Papyrus” starring Ryan Gosling. Plus, two encounters Julio and Mike had at the gym that aren’t sitting right with them.

Mike!!! As a disabled girly I must tell you: HMO plans you need referrals, PPOs often you don’t. Some small insurance companies have different names for it, but the higher end plans will often let you go where you want when you want.

Btw the gym calling you and saying they decided your story was a lie and you were the one on the phone – the joke part could be that you call them when you get your next bill and say after an internal investigation they actually owe you money. Not the funniest joke of all time, but could be a fun joke to be able to call back to with stories later. Like a second punchline for some of the following stories “so I called them and said after an internal investigation…” the payoff of the call back might make the middlingness of the actual joke itself worthwhile. Plus, the story alone has value. We have all gotten a version of that call and hearing it from onstage would have a lot of value to people

Mike is obviously a soft salmon color. Appears mild but actually makes quite a statement. Not offended to be mistaken for beige in a chaotic environment but happy when seen as his actual color

I agree that navy blue has bad vibes. But a blue that is a little brighter or more vibrant than navy blue is mysterious and bold.

My favorite thing in the world is watching Julio explain to more established or strait laced comedians about his chaotic neutral lifestyle. Their discussion abt primary care doctors and insurance was almost as good as the THR roundtable where Julio had John Mulaney ready to sign him up for a credit card that HE paid for 💀
