Don't get discouraged. This channel is what we need, seriously. Somebody that is going to tell us the truth about the shit we have been tricked into putting in our bodies. It isn't fair, and it isn't right, but you aren't trying to sell something to save us, and you're not holding information back until we sign up for something. Finally the real deal, and I respect that. Thank you.

I used to eat salads all the time with avocado and olive oil dressing I made and I lost so much weight. It got boring after a while though, I should have figured a way to jazz it up to stick with it. I'll be working back to this. Thank you!

10:53 The animal cookie is a male lion that's looking to the right while lying down on his belly with his tail wrapped around his right heel, and he's thinking about killing something. The highest bit is his mane.

Sugar is the enemy. I used to eat a lot of it. My triglycerides were 250, which have been shown to be the most impactful measurement for heart disease. After cutting sugar they dropped to 75.
    Avoid sugar.

These issues could be solved nearly overnight. Okay, it would cause some disruption to the market and such, but the answer is simple, if not entirely painless in the short term. Most of this heavily processed garbage that's killing us is used not because the food corporations hate us and want us to die… all things being equal, they'd prefer we stay alive so we can keep buying their crap. The reason they use this stuff is because it's CHEAP. Why is it cheap despite requiring a lot of industrial processing and huge amounts of acreage to produce? Because our moronic government allows themselves to be influenced by highly paid lobbyists who have convinced lawmakers to heavily subsidize these crops. Remove the subsidies, and soybeans will become unprofitable, no more soybean oil. Corn will become significantly less profitable, no more high fructose corn syrup. Not only are these products making American health significantly worse, we're actually PAYING THEM via our tax dollars to feed us this poison. Remove the subsidies and let the market set the price for how valuable these "commodities" really are.

I thought you were going to do a video on how harmful raw vegetables are to humans, like in salads.
They are full of chelators like phytates and oxalates, enzyme inhibitors, alkaloids, glucosinolates, cyanogens, toxic proteins and peptides, hormone disruptors, irritants, in silicates… All designed to punish us for trying to eat something other than their fruit.

Aren't most salads consumed for the purpose of eating a light meal / not feeling hungry and limiting caloric intake at the same time? That's the issue with salad dressing as far as I'm concerned; it puts all the calories back into the salad that people were trying to avoid. People also tend to smother the salad with dressing, so it gets worse.

Pretty interesting about the oil being what makes the nutritional content absorbable though. Guess putting on enough dressing just to flavor the salad is the right idea.

People love saying fat makes you fat and to that, I always say, okay. What do you feed a cow to fatten it up? You feed it grain like wheat and grass and stuff like that, not food with fat in it, it's bread pasta, anything that has grain in it is what really does the fattening in your body

meanwhile i make homemade dressings for my salad (not out of healthy habits, but because i don't like msot storebought ones,)
my dressing starts wtih yoghurt, sour cream or greek yoghurt, depending on mood and what's in my fridge.
salt, pepper, a tiny amont of dijon mustard, and we have our base, from here, i go in many different directions based on mood, and what it's for.

i don't do this out of health reasons either, i genuinely don't like mayo, and most storebought dressings taste too sweet for what i want with a salad (if i want sweet with my salad, which i almost always do, i'll add bell peppers and/or corn)
