Gary grew up in the 1970’s, an era that didn’t understand sensitive boys or the importance of hydration.

She wasn't just costing him one syllable worth of missed hydration – in a three Mississippi count she was actually costing him a full three syllables. That's almost a full Mississippi. It's like 75% of a Mississippi.

He says he's 6'6" and Conan says he's 6'4". Yet when they stand next to each other they're the same height. Someone's got the wrong measurement.

1970 's? Water? We drank out of garden hoses…and liked it. The water was hose flavored.

Fans of GG, pay attention. You must read/listen to Misfit, his (audio)book. Comedy gold. Do not delay.

“Miss M.” Subtle genius there.
A-P-T, as a 3 syllable pronunciation, in essence, is another stroke of genius writing.

When she shortened Mississippi to "Missippi"…guess she made Gary miss a sip

Sounds like Mrs McNally would have made a good Millennial too, as she didn't just assume Ms Sippi's marital status. 😜

These are the comics that should be selling out arenas! No having to resort to jumping around, loud noises and facial expressions to get laughs out of crowds. Just clever, well thought out segments.

I've heard Gary's name over the years and only recently started watching his work. He is hilarious! And he seems like the nicest man.

Gary G is the best. I love his grasp on proper grammar and figures of speech and how he uses it to comedic effect. Smart humor. Incidentally, I'm also a fan of snob humor, lol.

Gary, don’t you mean the ‘bubblah’ not the water fountain? I remember asking permission to go to the ‘bubblah’! Then I moved to Philly and they had no idear what I was talking about. No ‘cultcha’!

I compare his observations to that of Brian Regan.

Gary, don’t you mean you were walked down to the ‘bubblah’?

When right-wingers complain about “political correctness”, what they mean is “I want to be able to say or do any horrible thing that I want without anyone calling me out for it”.

He’s even nicer than you can imagine too…well maybe not that nice, but a very kind and caring person if you ask him for a photo while he’s trying to grab a bite to eat on his walk downtown.

I remember being in football practice in August in Los Angeles when it was 90 degrees in the shade, and the coaches actively keeping water away from us, I mean, punishing us for sneaking water onto the field. What was WITH those brain dead sadists, anyway? Oh yeah, and Gary's set was funny.
@thricefx
October 5, 2025 at 12:53 pm
He may have made a good millenial, but the audience of today is too stupid to understand these big words.

I would argue and 80s and 90s you could get away with smashing your friends head into the spout too.
