Man Theo, I was in that dark place 4 years ago. For some reason I also thought no one likes me. That girls didn't like me. Now I've gotten better thanks to God healing me. Still have a few more ways to go but I'm doing much much better now. I hit the gym, I tried to strike up conversations, slow improvements over the years.

I disagree. I was pro at listening to women. The problem was that they expected me to be there to listen all the time. They would call me late at night and expect me to LISTEN to their boyfriend problems, even. If I wasn't on AIM or Facebook after school, they would get angry at me over it.
I would say to never go down that road. Don't be the guy who "listens" unless it's a sister, your mother, or some woman that you actually care about.
Women liked me, but they didn't respect me. They still play this game. After finding out that most women have about 20 bodies, they will tr00n your kids for attention, and they will divorce a good man because their friends will tell them too, I decided that I was out.
I even had a job where it was 90% women. Even there, the women wanted me to be the guy who LISTENS to them…. all the time. When I didn't want to do that, and I said "Hey Claire, you seem nice and all, but I really don't think that I can help you with your problems…." I was reported to HR for things that I never said and she took it as a rejection. The woman was married and flirting with like 2 or 3 other men at work. I told HR that I was going to just look for a new job. They told me to call the employee assistance line instead. I was gone within a month.
I've dealt with women at home. I've dealt with them at school. I've dealt with them in the military, and in other jobs that require a uniform. There is a pattern of behavior in modern women and it's not sustainable. The sitcom mom thing where the woman gets to freak out and yell and is "always right" isn't cute. We are going to lose our culture and it will never return. This is baked into the cake. Good luck trying to undo 100 years of feminist indoctrination.

Key is just to take all expectations for something more developing off the table. Then you can actually relax and well, actually learn about each other, if you even enjoy each others company in a normal manner

Just don’t feel pressured to say something when it gets quiet, because if you want to say something just for the sake of saying something that’s where the cringe begins. If it gets quiet just stay quiet for a minute or two, its not the end of the world

The courage it takes to talk to women and get rejected will make you feel more confident in the future. Then you become friends with a woman and she just really likes you because your proud of who you are and what you do. Once you get over the first hurdle the rest are a breeze.

By the time you get confident enough to talk to woman your succeeding in some way at life. Once you're there you realize you wouldn't just date anyone. The real challenge is putting yourself in the place with people with similar interests. I still need to find my people, to find that person. You can talk to anyone, but it's a million times easier if you're talking to the right person.

Don’t be over sexual and rude. Us guys put much too much pressure on talking to women, and it doesn’t have to be this way. Going into the conversation thinking I’m just talking to a friend really helps vs thinking I have to be the smoothest guy in the world
