Hey everybody! I hope you enjoyed this video. It took me forever to make all those images lol. What year do you think had the best music in the 2010’s? Was it 2016 with Lemonade / Blonde / etc.? Or was it 2017 with DAMN. / Melodrama / etc.? Let me know!

You might also try hit-chart performances and what people have said about the songs. I feel like 2011 might rank higher but that's me. I had a good time that year.
2016 was also the year that Prince/David Bowie/George Michael/Otis Clay/Glenn Frey/a whole lot of them died that year. I kind of think that takes 2016 down a peg or 7.

I think we can all agree, two years later, a year after the pandemic, 2021 is perhaps the best year in music in a very long time. Not just in hip-hop, but all genres across the board. Music is back and back with a vengeance.

2013 was the best year for music in the 10s. Alot of the music that came out was so nostalgic. Katy Perry's "Roar", Alicia Key's "Girl on Fire," One Republic's "Counting Stars," Macklemore and Ryan Lewis's "Thrift Shop" and "Cant Hold Us," Daft Punk's "Get Lucky," Lorde's "Royals," Miley Cyrus's "Wrecking Ball," Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines," Avicii's "Wake me Up," and "What the fox says." (I'm not sure if that's a official music video but whatever it's bad and nostalgic.) All of these songs destroyed the billboard chart in 2013.
